Switch up on Amazon.de - 329,99€

I'm a bit confused by Fnac. Do you get the discount immediately or is it added to your loyalty card?

It is added to your loyalty card "Fnac adhérent" (subscribing to that card costs ~10 euros for 3 years).

Atm I placed a preorder at Amazon.fr for the Switch + Zelda bundle and one at Fnac for a Switch alone (I'll buy Zelda with the 30 bucks on my loyalty card).

Just tried, the promo code SWITCH30 is still working. Once again, it's only credit for your next purchase.

I get this message when I try it:

Too bad, this code can unfortunately not apply to your basket ...
Please check if you have entered it correctly or try another

Veuillez vérifier que vous l'ayez bien saisi ou en essayer un autre

What am I doing wrong? :(

Is it for Fnac card holders only? Can I apply for the trial this if I'm not a resident of France?

Do you have a Fnac membership? If not, you have to add the free membership trial as well.

Can I do that if I'm not a resident of France? Are they going to ship me a physical card or is it just like Amazon Prime? Sorry for ignorance, never bought from France or heard of Fnac before today :)

I think it only works once per account.

Crap so I used it for nothing since I cancelled everything afterwards?

Ok I had pretty much the same experience. I have already ordered a switch at Fnac with the SWITCH30 code so I tried to order it again with Zelda + Switch.
It didn't worked at first because I wasn't logged in, I had the same message that Naked Snake.

But after logged in I can preorder Zelda + Switch at 364 and reuse the promo code to have 30€ on my loyalty card. (I have the most basic fnac card)

Well I am logged in, and still have this message. Maybe I have to wait a few days or something.

Oh crap, yes maybe. I placed my first preorder yesterday. Don't know if I will keep a preorder on the fnac anyway since Micromania is doing a trade in. The switch is at 219€ with selling a new 3ds.

Amazon.fr says that they don't ship the article (Zelda bundle) to Germany :( Why?

ordered a couple of minutes ago (Germany) and it worked with no issues.
We'll see what happens

Now I only need to remember all the different sites I preordered the Switch on so that I won't end up with 5 of them :/

Ordered from Amazon.fr now. €10 cheaper than from Germany. Hope Amazon.de will decrease the price before it launches.

Does anyone know if Amazon.fr ships consoles before the release day? Even with the fast delivery of 2-4 days it gives an estimate for 7th to 9th of March delivery.

Yeah, it seems that one can put the order on it, but can they revoke it anytime they want? I mean, the store page says that it cannot ship it to *put a country here*...

I ordered the Switch from France, BotW from UK (there was that -10£ coupon), all in all they'll cost me the same than ordering that amazon.fr bundle.

Let's hope that they reduce the price even more! Amazon has that pre-order price quarantee, right?

EDIT. It gives me too a deliver date beyond launch, but if I can safe 70-80€ because of that then...

For me the message goes away if I place the free trial for the fnac card in my basket and then enter the code.

Yeah but I'm already a member, and a free trial card of one month doesn't interest me as the next game I'm going to buy will be out later and the card won't work then.

Exactly that. I really don't want to support the rip off going on here. Even with the 4% difference in VAT we're talking about 90€ more for the console and Zelda on the launch day.

I received the Wii U from amazon.fr a day before launch, but who knows? My plan is to keep the .fr order until 2 days before launch and have as back-up the .de order (or in stores here if it's available).

Oh damn, I want that Zelda bundle, too, now... :/ Great value! Maybe I should ask a friend of mine to get it for me, then?

It is written there that they don't deliver to Germany, because of reasons. Damn, I sure hope that Amazon in Germany matches the offer.

...hate me...
Currently my order (console + Zelda) is on about 390€.

340 for the console (on both amazon.de and .fr)
50 for the game (on amazon uk with an expired promo)

Fnac.com brings it down to 370 + 17 for shipment which is a 3 euro savings that doesn't seem worth it but do they also give me a 30 euro voucher or something? Then it could be worth it if I could use it later to get a controller or charger or grip.

Preordered too. Thanks GAF.

Delivery date is a few days later. But for that price I can wait.

They won't send you a physical card, but you don't really need it. Once they dispatch your console or at worst a few days later after that, they will credit the 30€ to your FNAC account.

Then, when you'll make your next purchase don't forget to use the 30€ at checkout.

So if I understand that correctly, you get 30 € as a voucher on your card if you use the code, and that card is valid for a year?

Hm, I used to order at fnac for 18+ games, as in Germany those items require special shipping (yes, really), so that might be interesting.

Are you sure they don't send a physical card? Because I will be using a forwarding address and I don't want to pay international shipping for a card that I will not use... that's the only thing stopping me from proceeding with this. I learned that Fnac is a large retail chain with physical stores and people use their cards when shopping at the physical stores.

It seems that there were more preorders for switch then for ps4 for a retrailer in sweden.
Ok one retrailer doesn't say that much, but sweden is more playstation minded.

Right now my order is sitting at 319,00 + 59,90 = 378,90 with free shipping, both from Amazon ES, which is not that bad.

Switching the console to FR (314) would save 5€, but my Premium won't apply, so with shipping it becomes 326, so it's not worth it. I hope ES matches that.

I really hope that Amazon.it also drops the price, it's still 400€ for the Switch+Zelda, with some accessories and a 128GB microsd i'm at 600€

I think taxes in Luxembourg are lower compared to France. I was surprised too by the free shipping.

Gotta love that Eurozone.

I placed a preorder at Fnac for Neon + Zelda € 364.99 + 30 credit. Feels good man. Thanks for the heads up and help guys.

Still more than a month to go, could we see even better deals before launch?

I think it's free ( well basic conditions so above 25€ purchase and regular shipping) for luxemburg, belgium, and switzerland iirc

I don't know why those and only those, probably because they all have french as one of their official language.

Where in Luxemburg do you order?

And how good is Amazon.fr with delivering the packets in time on the 3rd? Would it be possible to get it if I order from Germany?

How long did you wait to get a GAF account? Don't you value it?

Haha exactly what I was thinking... juniors committing account suicide erry day.

My nephew has been wishing to have a GAF account for many years... his registrations never get accepted (probably cause he doesn't have ISP email address).

It was the same for me, I ordered yesterday for €365 but I cancelled and ordered it again today for €360. I don't think the price will go much lower before the release date but I will watch Amazon. :)

Yes, because the command appears at 2 items with a switch at 298E and Zelda at 61E. So even if the pack is lowered a bit, they will always compare the price of the two items to standalone switch and Zelda.

So, we should be careful, any price drop will probably not be applied.

Amazon.fr is super reliable, though there's always a risk with international shippings.

Heads up for anyone thinking about the Fnac SWITCH30 deal:

The offer is valid until January 29 and within the limit of the first 40,000 codes distributed.

Wait, Fnac.fr has over 40K Switches to sell? Or does the code work across all their other country websites?

Thanks, doesn't work either way though, amazon.fr doesn't ship the Switch to Germany :(

Hopefully there are some good deals in Germany around that time and amazon does a 'same price' guarantee.

I also happen to order a lot from amazon.fr to Luxembourg (Luxembourg city center to be precise) and it's always a little longer than shipping to France.

I preordered my Wii U and my PSVR there and both were shipped only on the release date and arrived 2 days later.
