I mean, that's a fair response.
I understand why they would react like that.
I don't know if it's the right response, though.

It's the right response if the world wants to destroy Trump's presidency.

Imagine if China and non-U.K. European countries even contemplated following suit. Fucking chaos.

While of course it sucks, that's also an exaggeration because you can meet in basically every other country on earth (other than maybe Israel).

This is a fucking unbelievable post. How old are you? Are you like, aware of what the economic situation is like for families in foreign countries outside of your little bubble?

Uhm,

C'mon.

Trump's unorthodox certainly but at least people know where they stand with him currently so they can start talking about their issues from there.

Hitler gassed people by the train load.

Whilst I'm apprehensive I'm curious to see where this aggressive business like approach goes in a world where politicians traditionally dance around each other wafting metaphorical feathers.

So you have no idea about Hitler's rise to power? It was not by gassing people by the train load.

as an american, i can't really say that i want that to happen

but if it would destroy the trump administration that would be ok

Ah so it's an inconvenience at best. "Don't worry mom and pop, just go to Mumbai and I'll come there. It will be like a mini-vacation". Is that what's in that head of yours?

Show me where I said it's only an inconvenience. Otherwise you can save yourself the ban-baiting. Of course it's not just a fucking incovenience. But the tweet is made on a basis that this ban will be upheld for the rest of her life, which is highly unrealistic considering this will be legally challenged very soon or at the very least the next democratic (or sane republican) president will repeal it immediatley.

They wouldn't question. They would arrest and torture out a confession.

Could you link evidence of that? That sounds crazy to me that they would just stop everyone crossing the border.

I used to share this line of thinking but as horrible as Mike Pence is, there is no possible way he is as actively destructive as Donald Trump.

Let's not get distracted. Trump isn't the problem that people think he is. The republican house and senate are. Trump is simply a lightning rod and superconductor for corruption charges, and a distraction. Yes he makes big unilateral executive orders. No he is not the one authoring them. If he is, it's because he's being fed a narrative.

If Trump, for instance, dies, it's the ultimate dream for republicans.

- they get the huge window of "omg it's so confusing and tragic, martial law for everywhere until we figure out what's going on" as a chance to crack down on freedom of information and pass whatever they want

- they get an endlessly interpretable beloved martyr to excuse their actions ad nauseam

- they get an endless source of fake news distractions as the conspiracy theories explode

- they get the "respectability" of Pence, the "moderate," taking the helm, further excusing their excesses

Pence will absolutely ramrod through everything we've seen in the past week, and worse, but do it under the guise of respectability.

Every country should do it. Let's see the Great Negotiator's reaction.

Fun historical Fact!

Hitler didn't start out by gassing people. He started out by building support through fear and promotion of white nationalism.

And Fuckface von Clownstick is following his playbook.

iraq blocking u.s contractors from entering the country is a really good tactic. you have to start messing with american company's money to get people in charge to actually play ball.

It's incredibly easy saying this kind of shit from a comfy western nation, knowing that none of these things aren't ever going to touch your life personally anyway.

It leads to people not thinking very clearly.

Real talk. My family struggles with logistics in the same state. But lets country hop cause its so easy.

He really is trying to undo everything Obama did, isn't he?
Wonder when he's going try to "negotiate" with Cuba.
It's always easier to break something, than repaire it.

Yes. Their (Bannon's) plan is to make it as though Barack Obama was never president.

While of course it sucks, that's also an exaggeration because you can meet in basically every other country on earth (other than maybe Israel).

Ah yes, because instead of paying 1000 for a two-way flight to go see your family, its better to have every member of the family pay 1000 for a two-way flight and hotels to go spend a couple days in a different country. How could we be so naive.

Ban-baiting? Whats ban-baiting? If you think your explanation gets you banned, do you think its a good idea to even bring it up? You speak like it's an inconvenience. Just meet in other country, DUH. That. Is. Not. A. Workaround.

Lol tons of people won't be able to see their families, but sure, it's all about where your white ass wants to travel.

Does Trump believe the US is the only one that can do this stuff? More and more countries will retaliate and we'll be permanently fucked

most countries with a strong tourism industry can't retaliate very well there. Would be a matter of cutting off the nose to spite the face, wot with how much americans tend to spend.

on the other side, not being an american, i kinda hope they do. Drive those prices down, fam.

Ah yes the "aggressive business like approach" that coincidentally aligns with the policy of white nationalist fascists, who, by yet another coincidence, are directly employed by Trump. Gosh, where could this lead?

How about stop thinking selfishly for a second?

Thousands of Iranians have relatives in the US and vice versa.

Having Iran on this list doesn't even make any sense outside of appeasing Israel and Israel supporters in the US.

Give it a week and a boat full of US sailors will 'stray' into Iranian waters and get detained.

These countries are going to push back and test Trump. I doubt he'll be up to it.

Russia is probably pretty fucking happy -- the US lost any leverage it might have had there.

Iraq is free to make energy deals with them, too.

I'm surprised more people didn't point out this absolute shit-post if I'm being honest.

You'd prefer Iran does nothing, thus the bully wins by default?

No, from an international law perspective it's a legit reaction. But I'm not surprised Iran is the first to react given the anti-american sentiment embedded especcially in the conservative government circles.

I also edited the other post to maybe make my stance more clear and stop the dogpiling without reading up further.

So what does this mean for things like the nuclear deal?

I assume part of that was some US folks going over there and working and checking on things.

Obviously Republicans already wanna torch it and turn everything into the wild west, but wouldn't stuff like this kind of torch it anyways?

Also really great to just further tank our relations and how we are seen worldwide. More and more any country dealing with the US will have to come to terms with the optics of willingly being on board with us and our shit heel policies.

Putting Steve Bannon in charge of the US was not a good idea folks.

Yeah, sure it sucks, but the concentration camps have chain-link fences. It's not like you can't meet them at the fence. Ffs.

So... The nuclear deal? Dead already?
