Im on the fence if I should use up all Cecils or just grind a tad more so I can fuse all but one on him. Might be good to save one to TM farm a second Excalibur???

Yeah, personally I'd aim for at least two Excalibur, its a pretty a great sword. A faster TM is always tempting, though. >_<

Yeah I tm farm a tad more, leave one out of the fuse.
I have a total of 7 Cecils haha, fused one onto another cecil by mistake though..

Got nothing good today. Free pull was Kain. Daily was Shadow, and Ticket was Kain. :/

I did my free summon and got gold -> Vaan. Decided to do a ticket pull on the current banner and it was blue -> Miyuki. I guess it's not bad. Got 5% closer to a Sakurafubuki. Not sure what to do with that Vaan. I might go ahead and merge him with the one I have already.
The exploration doesn't count. The dungeon counts.
Day 6 = 3* Exdeath, Holy now at 80% and I didn't farm for it.

So close with Blade Mastery x2. Noctis can have one and Luneth can have the other.
I'll replace both Chiz with 2 Medius to fuse all 3 for 1 Growth Egg then have 3 more Medius for another Growth Egg (I keep putting it off and decided I'll just get them now to make maxing units out that little bit quicker). Those are the only two Hayate units that I have so will go for the 100% on both.

Ranked up this morning though and actually managed to run it perfectly so I didn't lose any NRG.
I've now run the damn beast to try and kill it with an esper 6 times. This last time I seriously couldn't even see any red in his life bar. Threw out my esper.... and he still lived. I mean.... FML. I give up. I don't even want the damn whip anyway.

It depends on what units you have right now.
This banner is over all a good one.
Yun is a great dps, Ling is a great support. Even Xiao, who used to be the worst of the 5*able club, is somewhat good.
What units do you currently have?

I would have been gone for longer if I was here when that happened... I was watching Deadwood at the time. The vulgarity coming out of my mouth would have made Al blush. I was steaming. I didn't even mind the rainbow... but having to do a 10+1 pull to pull a single yellow. The odds are 19/100 for a yellow, the chance of not getting one is in the .000001th%.

This really is the best event in a while. Im also near to the magical 5k Lapis mark - the last time had more than 5k Lapis was during the FF IV banner, where i did a 11pull and only pulled trash...still haunts me.
If i have +5k once Orlandu drops i will give it one shot and hope for him and/or Firion. After that i will just save for the FFX units.
I dont like having that much Lapis saved up...lol.

No Fullbreaker? Imo, pulling for Ling would be good. She's versatile enough to cover some holes in your party. But 30 tickets might not be enough.
Rain is a better fullbreaker unit. Cloud, I would save for a better banner. The banner is not bad by any means, but I don't think it has anything for your gaps
Rain 6* is the best Fullbreaker in the game right now - so you dont need to pull for that Role.

Yeah I would agree with you that Rain is the best breaker right now.
But we can't overlook Ling's utility in a party. She offers a lot that it's really hard to overlook her, specially if you're new. Let's see what she can offer in a party: AoE Raise, AoE MP Recovery, AoE All Status Recovery, LB Rate Up, Entrust. Only downside is Ling's squishy as a jelly.
For a beginner, she's a godsend and too valuable to overlook. For veterans, maybe not as much since we have dedicated units that do a better job at a specific role.
Breakers are units that inflicts status debuff on monsters, reducing their damage, defense, magic damage, magic defense, elemental resists etc. It makes it much easier to beat some trials that does not resist break skills.
My personal opinion, Ling will be a great addition to your party. But She's a 4* base, so it's harder to pull her than a 3*. At 30 tickets, their's a real high chance you won't get her. So think it over.
Alternatively, you can wait for FF12 banner, which has Tidus and Rikku. Both serves the same role as Yun and Ling, which is dps and support respectively, but better. But they won't be here for at least 3 months.
