So...do these people not bathe for a month? Do you just have take-out food delivered to you? What about the bathroom?

I was totally sure this was going to be our Joy Con Boy, Etika. I have seen some videos of this CND guy and he is truly a massive Nintendo fan but damn, no need to do this... But I guess it's perfect to attract attention to his channel and it seems it's working so far.

If I didn't have a career or a family to take care of or any other responsibilities to worry about, I'd do some crazy shit like wait outside of a store for a month with Triforce for a video game console. Just watch him at the diner though.

I'll just walk in and grab my preorder like everyone else.

There's no way he's sitting out in front of the store right now. If I lived in New York I'd plant a chair down just to see his reaction when he shows up.

I'm sad I clicked the link and made him money. I get lining up is fun I've done it but a month? Bathroom, showers, electricity? That is also a busy area during the day I can't imagine the city or the store will let it fly this far in advance.

Funny that a YouTuber is doing this considering Nintendo and their YouTube policies.

Maturity, bitches.
If you want to be the first person in the world to publicly get something, don't do it in a American timezone.

Most of the world will have already got it without the need to waste a month of their life outside one shop.

Funny, every time I order from Best Buy I get new releases a day before release. I should text a picture to him of me in my pajamas getting mine off my own porch before he gets his.

Nintendo's gonna pull him aside in a few days and say "listen kid, just show up here at this time and you'll be the first" and he's good.

I'm hoping Triforce is helping him save the spot then at the last moment betrays him and takes the #1 spot on the line!

Glad Triforce found someone to pass the torch to. I'll be watching his updates. It takes a lot of dedication to do something like this. I'm content to sit and wait for my preorder, but I can respect when someone wants to do this.

Twitch IRL stream or it isn't happening. Still I'm going to watch. Any youtuber who can find a way to make money off nintendo without nintendo taking their hefty cut is worthy of patronage in my book. Change your policies Nintendo!

I'm confused... so this stunt is for views/subs, fine. But then once he acquires the system it's not like he can use it to make money via videos / streaming, right? Thought Nintendo didn't allow that sort've thing?

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
I don't have anything nice to say about this nor do I think its a good idea. I'll refrain from calling the guy a loser/idiot though.

Couldn't he just do a unboxing video to get the views????

They do, he'll just have to partner with Nintendo and share ad revenue for Nintendo related content, I believe.

That seems to be what upsets YouTubers since they refuse to share ad revenue with Nintendo and think their content should be protected under "Fair Use" while YouTube has tools which skew towards protecting copyright holders.

I could see somebody doing this without a pre-order. Using the views and popularity as leverage to try and get a free one from sympathy and public outcry, having been denied one after the whole wait.
