I've gotten one up and will get enough crystals to get him to around level 125 or 130 or so but I don't think I can bothered doing anymore.

I hate these timed raids, especially with their shit drop-rates. MP is just a tedious experience due to how many people have ridiculous requirements, how many people don't really know what they're doing, and how some people are either assholes or have a really unstable connection(considering they conveniently drop on the final round, i'm going for the former personally).

I don't even run multiplayer. I just solo the S-Rank (with a One Tail Naruto friend) and hope for the best. I don't have a 99 Luck leader, so it's difficult for me to find a room even though I have Minato. Just not worth the headache. I don't know how close I'll get him to 99 luck before the raid ends, but I'm not going to stress about it (and I'm definitely not burning pearls). Well, I might spend a few pearls if I get close.

Speaking of raids, I'm surprised we didn't get a return of Kushina. But then, they might not have wanted having two of this style of raid running at the same time.

And yes! I hate timed raids. Just leave the thing up all the time, why even bother having specific windows for it? It does encourage people to burn pearls to replenish their stamina to farm it within that time-frame, though, which is probably why they do it.

Yeah, this is my plan too. I'll probably keep the second copy at 5* though, just for his tanking ability. It would be an easy slot too, once you fully unlock his abilities and lower his cost, since he'd be so cheap. If I evolved him to 6, he's be a higher cost. I was thinking of maybe making a team with:

Minato (his range could combo with the two Sasuke)
6* Sasuke + PC Sakura (healing Buddy Skill)
5* Sasuke + PC Sakura (healing Buddy Skill)

+Whatever works well, in Minato's Buddy Slot as well as the Friend one. Maybe another PC Sakura when she returns and I can grab another copy of her.

BTW, I doubt I'll be able to max luck my Sasuke after all. Fewer people seem to be leading with One Tail Naruto (I guess they accomplished what they needed and switched back to their 99 Luck characters), and since I don't have him, S-Rank is impossible (like, it's seriously impossible). I could host S-Ranks in multiplayer, but the few times I did we ended up failing since one of the members would always group up and lure all of the enemies in one location. I could disconnect as soon as the match starts to make use of their characters, but that's rude so I'm definitely not doing that.

It's starting to make me wish I had burned pearls after all just so I could get him finished before people dropped their leads.

This is smart. I might do this when the Sasuke raid returns (and if I still don't have One Tail Naruto), or whenever the next raid event comes around that requires a specific character (and I don't manage to pull him/her).

As it is, I just keep closing the app and loading it back up to recycle the list. It's taking a while, but I've managed a Naruto or two.

I did a good number of re-rolls in an attempt to do that and didn't get him. In fact, most re-rolls I didn't even get a 6* outside of the free beginner one.

Gave up in the end.

Maybe when the raid is up at some other point and I have more free time to spend re-rolling.

Choose Tsunade. Seriously. Healers are super-important and she's great for that (has a nuke too). Plus she just received a Limit Break, so she'll only get stronger.

Sasori is great, but Tsunade is more important, IMO, especially if you're already lacking 6* healers.

I was set on Tsunade until I got lucky and got Rin. Then I thought "well, I don't NEED Tsunade as much anymore...". But you're right. Healers help with so much.

Yeah, even with Rin I'd still go for Tsunade. It's nice to have one for each element.

It's funny you say that. When I did my 3x multi-pulls on the Team Minato banner, I got Rin too. Two of her, actually, one as a standard recruit and the other as my guaranteed for doing the third multi. I still immediately went into the shop and grabbed Tsunade, I didn't even second-guess myself.

No regrets.

I only did it with Jiraiya because the S rank for it was surprisingly easy, the drop rate wasn't too bad when you factor in the lucky drop, and he dropped with 5 luck.

I can't be bothered doing any raid 99 odd times though, lol.

I actually grinded out my last few Sasuke today and got my first 99 Luck. One is really all you need, so you have someone to lead with when you attempt to join co-op missions. It is a grind, though.

Thankfully, I got lucky with the S-Rank Sasuke drops (if you got the standard drop as well as the lucky one, that was +10 Luck right there), so I only had to spend a pearl or two to get em' all. I'll also have another 6* Sasuke (with all abilities unlocked) when I farm more WIS scrolls/ramen. I'm only max'ing out Luck on one of them (the one I already completed), but it might be helpful having another 6* Sasuke around. His abilities are damn BROKEN! 2x of him, tanking separate mobs, while a Minato (paired with a PC Sakura) attacks/heals each turn from a distance. I still need to be careful about AOE jutsu, but even still.

Yeah Sasuke seems like a great one to level to 99. I think I got about 20 copies of him just farming his crystal. But I made 2 max Sasukes. It's annoying he is wisdom because my wisdom team is already stacked. If Jiraiya ever comes back I'll probably take him to 99 since it's easier. I actually only grabbed one copy of him when his raid came, which I regret. Just didn't have the time for it.

it was like that since the beginning, just that shorter stages.
we do need to clear chapter 1, 3 stages for that 5 pearls.

If you reroll, you will remember.
Start with 25 pearls, either complete story stage 1.
or coop 3x.

According to Reddit, I'm not the only one that seems to continually receive character crystals for the character they don't have, in-relation to the ones they do. It's really frustrating, when you look at the number actually needed for Limit Breaking them fully (73), especially considering the event costs 30 stamina to do and it only around for a limited time. Oh, the drops aren't even guaranteed, and despite there being three bosses you'll only get a maximum of two drops. I seriously don't know what they were thinking when they added SIX new character crystals in the same event. It just doesn't seem worth it, especially when you factor in all of the ryo/scrolls you need in addition to this...

They really need to re-think the LB mechanic. I know it's optional, and you don't need to do it, but considering the lack of content in-game I'd literally have no reason to log in daily and play if not for this.

Yeah that's the problem I had in the other missions. Especially the first one.

Originally I only had Kakashi and got Naruto a bit in. Guess what two crystals I ALWAYS got? Sasuke and Gaara. Even now I still get a lot of Sasuke from it(I got Gaara).

Fortunately with the new one I'm only missing Naruto and Sasuke, so it's a much higher chance for me to get a crystals of a character I actually own.

That said, the scrolls issue is what's also pissing me off. It's such a tedious fucking chore grinding scrolls for LBing. Not fun.

Nope, it's not just you. There are a few characters that (seemingly)_ have much lower drop-rates compared to the others. Unsurprisingly, they're also the ones that rank higher on the tier high (i.e., Tsunade and Rock Lee). Really disappointing, and honestly kills any interest I have in running this damn thing. It feels so pointless.

Meanwhile, Japan continually receives multiple pearls for logging in daily (as well as during the newest Shippuden episode) and Global gets nothing. The fact that we still don't have a daily pearl login reward (every single Bandai Namco game has this, and is pretty standard for most gatcha games) is a joke. This game has so little interest in Japan too (just search for the game on Youtube, you'll see little-to-no videos of it being posted, even during great gatcha releases), and it just feels like they're milking the Naruto fan-base on Global. The gameplay is decent, and I do love the series, but the amount of grinding everything requires, in addition to the low amount of free in-game pearls they offer you, is frustrating.

And yes, I know they release raids every few weeks with a lot of potential free-pearls, but I'm guessing most of the player-base won't be able to handle the "28-Cost or Lower" and "Weakness to the raid attribute" pearls that are earn-able there. Most will just do the First two sets, as the third is likely beyond most unless you've whaled hard and got yourself a lot of characters/duplicates (or gotten lucky).

the alternative or better way of earning money is by farming 5* character and feed them with 1 3* ramen cup of their colors and sell it.
gonna do it with this orochimaru, since we will definitely have many copies of him after 99 lucks and crystal farming.

That's the thing, though. By the time we actually manage to get all of the character crystals we need (with the horrible drop-rates), the next batch of Limit Broken character will be out who, given the power-creep so far, will be even stronger than the previous ones. Rinse and repeat.

Granted Rock Lee and Tsunade will probably keep their tier status later, even when more characters are added, but they seriously need to make the obtaining of specific character crystals easier to get. Not easier in the sense of beating the content. but less reliance on RNG to get the one you want.

He's in there, but he's now on part of the Blazing Festival banners, of which we just had. It'll probably be a few more weeks until our next one, so if you want to re-roll for him specifically, you need to wait until that time.

If it makes you feel any better, Orochimaru is garbage tier. So you don't have to feel you're missing out on a good unit if you skip his raid or just finish for the gems.

This is true. Most of the free units besides the first 2 hokages are pretty weak compared to normal 6 stars. I only play emergency missions to farm pearls.

Also not sure if it was posted on here, but the new 6 star on Japan is Yamato. Another short range skill character. They also increased rates for 6 stars by 1%. Hopefully that's the kind of positive change they can bring to global.

Was reading the notices about them increasing the pearl prices in the UK, looked at how much they'd increased them by and it's more than I fucking expected. The bundle went up from £18.99 to £23.99. >.>

I haven't spent much money on the game anyway, but frankly them doing that puts me off doing it ever again. Especially when you consider the shitty ass rates.

The laughable part is, yeah Brexit happened which tanked the pound. Brexit happened BEFORE Naruto came out. Why the fuck increase the price now when nothing has actually changed to our currency since you released the game?

I think this is an overall App Store increase right? There was some talk in other games that their prices were also raised. Not 100% sure though.

I'm not sure if anyone here is still playing this or not, I mostly just log in daily and do the odd raid event/story quest. If you are, and have a nice surplus of pearls saved, you might want to try summoning on the current Blazing Festival banner. There's a Nine-Step summon promotion, with discounted pulls after a certain amount of steps, as well as guaranteed banner characters. For example, on the third multi-summon you're guaranteed one of the banner characters, the fourth is a 25 pearl multi-summon, and on the ninth multi-summon (if you started saving a long time ago) you're guaranteed Ukataka (the newest Blazing Festival character).

I did 4x multi-summons, since I've been saving. My second multi-summon didn't have a gold poster, but my first/third/fourth did. I ended up walking away with:

OT Naruto (New)
Kazekage Gaara (New)
Neji (New)
Shukaka Gaara (Dupe)
Ukataka (New)

I already had Minato, Shukaka Gaara and Rock Lee, so that makes six Blazing Festival characters currently owned. Not too bad. I'm most excited for OT Naruto, since I love his sprite (and he's powerful, as well). Ukataka looks insane too, but his cost is really high (70). :/

The game still needs a lot of improvements, though. More variation in mission structure (maybe legitimate quests and not the simple ones we have?), A-Rank ryo/scrolls (how do we not have this yet), and less reliance on luck for crystal farming so you don't keep getting ones you don't need.

As it is, I'll continue to log in daily and hope things improve with time.

Wasn't the worst I guess though, I got Karin and old skill Sasuke.
