I wonder how much time passes during Diana's aging from child into adult? The other characters appear to look exactly the same, so they definitely have the slowed aging thing going on. Does it take Amazon's like 200 of our years to age from a baby to what we consider 18?

Good question. I think the common belief is that they age normally up to a certain age and then the process is slowed down dramatically. Wonder Woman in BvS was said to have been over 5,000 years old in the official materials.

Guess that makes sense. I mean Logan and Superman always seem to age normally up until they're "adults" and then just stop. I mean, could you imagine having to take care of an infant for like 10 years instead of 1? No thanks.

Just caught the trailer, sorry was at an event... and wow, looks real good. I'm really excited for this even though I was a bit apprehensive.

(for the record I didn't like any of the SS promotional stuff or trailer but the BVS stuff was jaw dropping especially the CC trailer...)

There's so many good quotes you can apply to that gif

It really goes well as a reaction to those "damned If you do, damned If you don't" posts

Poster 1 - "WW's trailer was fine, but that music at the end is awful, It doesn't fit"

Poster 2 - "Hated the trailer, the theme at the end was the only thing good about it"

The only thing I hope is that the non amazon parts are as entertaining. Afraid it will fall into the same trap as GL & Thor did, where the non-earth parts were amazing and the film faulted when it returned to earth.

Well, on the plus side, Etta and Steve look to be more entertaining than the Earth-based support characters in either of those films.

Cool thanks, but now you just reminded me I haven't watched All Star Superman. I think I'll do that first

And does anyone else think Alfred Molina as Ares in WW sounds like Trump lol

I hope you enjoy them. ASSM is much better as a comic than an animated movie, so even if you are mixed on the movie don't let that dissuade you from the comic.

hmmmmmmmm

Why is Artemis in a Wonder Woman movie?

EDIt. Wait am I thinking of the same Artemis?

Maybe? There's 3 DC Artemis, two of whom are linked to WW; one Amazon currently hanging around with Jason Todd, and of course the Greek God. I actually think that the YJ character might have been an original, but I'm not totally sure.

Is Ares the only God confrimed for the movie.

To have an actual on-screen presence, yeah. I think they're going with the Daughter of Zeus origin, so he might be involved as well.

Doesn't seem to be Amazon Artemis (no battlefield shots at all) so probably goddess Artemis. They're probably going to use her for the amazons' origin.

Patty Jenkins Retweeted Vaughn Mounsey
The legend @AnnWolfeBoxing is our Artemis!! Who else should be one of the greatest warrior Amazons, but the best female boxer in history.

Don't think she's playing the Goddess version.

Shes in that screenshot in the Jenkins tweet. Isn't Artemis the Queen's right hand in the animated movie? I think that was her name...

Need a single file line for those eating crow on Gal Gadot. Im not the only one. She's looking fucking great in these trailers man. Fucking great. It's crazy how hard it is to visualize people in roles sometimes.

The crow feasting probably won't begin until the movie comes out but even then I predict a lot of people won't be 100% sold on her. Even right now some are saying they are hiding her acting in the new trailer. Personally I think she is fine and looks the part but I don't expect to be blown away. I think she will hold her own

I really hope the new management didn't botch the new movies, especially Aquaman. At first, we hard about how they were going to take inspiration from horror films, and one day it suddenly became a swashbuckling adventure. I really don't like that.

Let the movies grow themselves. WW is shaping up great, and that's because, editing aside, the movie didn't get hit with the panic recoil. Let's hope the final cut is up to par.

Well I was wondering if their may be a new god reference, either through the motherboard or Ares knows of the other gods.

Matthew Vaughn being considered to direct Man of Steel 2.

Sources tell us that Kingsman: The Secret Service filmmaker Matthew Vaughn is Warner Bros.' top choice to direct Man of Steel 2, and preliminary conversations about the prospect have taken place. This isn't yet in the deal-making stage, and Vaughn could very well end up not directing the film, but he's who Warner Bros. wants at this point in time. Moreover, sources tell us that if Vaughn for some reason doesn't direct Man of Steel 2, Warner Bros. still wants him to helm another superhero movie in the DCEU.

Could be cool.

Kingsman was pretty fun.

And First Class is the only X-Men I love instead of just like ok enough.

And he keeps a little bit of an edge. Man of Steel is one of my favorite comic book movies, so I hope this means they've thought twice about doubling down on the joke-a-minute everything has to be smiles pandering.

It's been a while since I've seen First Class but how well did he handle the action scenes in that?
Wasn't very memorable, but that shouldn't be a problem. Snyder and crew will have done all the heavy lifting for the JL portion of this universe, and i'd expect other directors to use a lot of that as a base.

I'm really excited, I hope Vaughn will do it, First class is still my fave X-Men movie, Kingsman just wasn't for me but the man has a knack for it, no doubt.

Bring him on
