Drop rate isn't too bad. I got all 11 or 12 of them that I needed in one sitting, only used like 2 or 3 refreshes.

I could really get used to this half realm stamina cost. I've been running dungeons nonstop all day.

Sorry, I'm not following. Which mote dungeon boss? The torment stuff? Can it drop from any boss?

It's the Ahriman boss mote dungeon. It's a regular drop from the boss, you can farm it.
Edit: And now I remembered that it's only 1 stamina. So yea, forget about that 2 or 3 refreshes. I was thinking it took me about 50 clears and I estimated 20-30 stamina / clear because I forgot how much it actually cost. But yea, drop rate isn't bad. about 20-30%

If you use FFRKI or Creeper you can see if it drops before killing it. It's only 1 stamina, so just exit out if it's a non-drop event. Now that we have expfest, I'm levelling my Onion Knight (as we speak in fact), and plan to put them all to use right when I get him to 65.

FFRKI is a tool that, coincidentally, I wrote when I first started playing this game like 2 years ago. It basically injects itself in between your device and the game's server and watches all the data as it comes across. Then it displays a bunch of statistics and stuff, and back in the day it would send drop information to a centralized database. So for farming a specific item you enter the dungeon, and as soon as you enter it sees what is going to drop for you and displays it.
Most of its usefulness is obsolete however, because it was really mainly used for collecting orb drop information to min-max farming efficiency. You could search the database, filter, find best drop rates for certain items, etc. With the current and future dailies, the optimal answer for orb farming is just "do the highest stamina daily / orbfest". Plus, it's pretty difficult to set up FFRKI due to the way it basically does a Man in the Middle on your internet connection.
Creeper is something that someone else created a few months ago. It solves the same problem but in a different way. It's FAR easier to set up, but it has its own drawback, which could be a deal killer for some people.
Basically you connect your phone to a proxy like Fiddler, then due some steps to determine your "session id". You then go to the aforementioned website, enter your session id, email address, and phone number, and press a button. At this point you can turn off the proxy. Even leave your house or change networks. You then enter a dungeon, and as soon as you enter, it sends you an SMS and email with your drops.
The drawback though, which is the deal killer for some, is that it impersonates you to the DeNa servers. Every second or two, it constructs a message that says "hey, give me the latest information", sends it to DeNa pretending to be your device, and uses the response to figure out if anything dropped for you. To some this could be a privacy invasion and, unlike FFRKI, is actually detectable should DeNa care.

Demon rod, also got that with a mythril pull. What a weird bssb. En wind can't use tiamat. But a +dark rod. Not even an AOE burst command. Hmmm

It's pretty bad for a burst but it's still a burst.
I've had a pretty crap run on my 100 gems lately.

went what the hell since I had over almost 250 mythril and I'll probably get disappointed during the fest.
Happy about 3/11. Meh about both for Emperor and Firion's Helm as far as the items I wanted. Yay for three items for synergy.

Emperor's burst is Tier 2 in this ranking list. So I wouldn't say it's bad; it's a +dark burst with AoE entry. I'd be happy to have it.

I actually laughed because I'd consider 5 stars, more so a burst, from 100 gems a blessing. I got nothing for so long on 100 gems that I stopped doing them and only do 11-pulls for the G5.

My thoughts as well. I'm a sucker for support debuffs BSBs, and Gordon's will help with the CM.
Maria's BSB of course does not need any discussion. God tier.

I haven't done the Realm Dungeon Lucky Pull or any pulls on the FFII Banner (which I plan to do) yet. I'm waiting until we know what the anniversary banners are.
If they're not revealed beforehand, I'll pull on rather the Lucky Draw or FFII, but not both.

Those are the anniversary Lucky Banners, not the Celebration banners. (And those three are Curaga level SBs, EnElement SBs, and all BSBs.)
I'm talking about the five special banners we get during every celebration, with the new featured relics. (There will also be the a separate sixth banner with the player poll relics.)
There's gonna be nine banners total throughout the anniversary.

3/11 on my 50 pull - Firion helmet, Leila gloves, Leon armour. So nothing extraordinary, but some helpful synergy.
Have budgeted another pull for Banner 2 (pray4maria), and i think that will be it for FF2 unfortunately!

Frankly I'm getting pretty damn good rates on the Gigantaurs, so far I'm at about 60 stamina / major. So I don't see any point waiting for the new dailies. This is fine, and it also allows me to amass gil adn exp at the same time. I think I'm probably on about 30 refreshes, but I haven't been keeping track.CuthbertAllgoodz

Looks like some people who had no problem getting their special week-end login bonus last week are getting 6 Mythrils today. Good job DeNA, that will fix the Mythrils discrepancy that you tried to fix by making it even worse!
this reminds me of a friend i had who was trimming eyebrows, trimmed one side a tiny bit too far, had to trim the other side to compensate, trimmed that a tiny bit too far, repeat, repeat again, by the time it was even the eyebrows were like half gone so they had to be shaved completely off and drawn on with an eyebrow pencil
My mom cut my hair when I was in middle school once. She did this to me trying to even up my sideburns. It was terrible.
Edit: Typing that reminds me when I was in high school that she put highlights in my hair once. It looked fine, but wasn't much. The next time around she went to put in more, but broke the little hair net holes thing and also accidently smeered it on my side burns. The end result was I looked retarded blonde.
I had to play it off in high school, but man it sucked.

I mean at a point if they couldn't correctly identify or get the mythril out specifically to the people who were affected it's better to give it to everyone than just screw over the people who didn't get it at all. But if you're gonna do that at least say that's what you're doing!

That mythril shit is whack. I was made to wait and got 1 bonus. Others weren't made to wait and got 6 bonus, for nothing? Pshh.
Well, all this means is they need to figure out the ultimate difference now (which should be 11?) and credit it to the people who didn't get any.
Except it'll just mess up again and the deficit becomes even larger.

Yeah, I run dailies rarely in JP but dont recall ever getting this sort of luck over an extended period of runs.
