Why does it have a "split face" with two non-aligning faces? And a single hand in front? That looks awful.

Man, i havent given a crap about Tekken since Tekken 4. and even that game i found disappointing. TTT was always my favourite, and a few weeks ago i fired it up in a PS2 emulator on PC and i am fucking hooked all over again.
Im actually somewhat excited about T7. But can anyone whose played the arcade mode tell me, does it have an arcade mode ruining bullshit end boss like Jinpachi in T5? That boss was so, so bad it ruined the entire game for me. Also, does it have Jun & Bruce in it? Those are two of my favourite characters.

Its a shame because it looks awesome when it does. It works fine in practice or 1v1 modes. It crashes when you tag people in tho. I hope compatibility improves soon

Theres no way to play arcade mode in 1v1 that i can see sadly. CPU always gets 2 characters.

It's a joke. Even Harada said it was funny and ironic. Add to that the fact that it's actually quite helpful and I don't see a problem with it at all

1.) No, the arcade mode final boss is Kazumi or Akuma depending. With Kazumi after the first round she turns into Devil Kazumi. Devil Kazumi really doesn't have much BS though so you're good.
2.) Sadly our boy Bruce has been replaced with Josie. Jun might never return again since she when she came back in Tag 2, no one played her and the developers felt like they put all that time into bringing back the character for nothing.

Virtua Fighter is dead dude. If one does come out it won't be on console it will be arcade only.

There has been zero legit indication of a new VF iirc. There was a rumor from Verendus at one point but that's about it.

I find the asymmetry in their faces to be an awesome detail ,and the main reason the design stands out so much.
Every other pic of this kind would usually have the faces align symmetrically which is really worn out at this point.

Tekken 4 started the music down slide in the series, although I would still consider it a good soundtrack. Tekken 5 had a couple redeeming tunes.
I had the T3 and TTT OST on tag 2 for a while, but I didn't want ruin my old memories so I just changed it to classical piano.

I fired up Tekken Tag and Tekken 4 on the emulator last night...
Man Namco had the chillest tunes for their games in the late PS1 to early PS2 era. So good. Tekken 4 and Ridge Racer 4+5 OST's are my jam.

Pretty old news. Are there any games that have released after the PS4 Pro came out that don't feature a Pro mode? Is that even allowed outside of 2D indie stuff?
If any fighting game is known for its SP content. It's Tekken. Polished to the brim...
Tekken's the #1 console fighter known for it's single-player content. They've already said everything you normally see in a Tekken game, everything you expect to see, will be there and they've also said the whole reason they pushed the game back is because they didn't want to end up "like other companies and release a lacking product"...so yeah you're in great hands with this one. It's nothing like SFV.
