Dasani was launched in the UK on 10 February 2004. The product launch was labelled “a disaster”,[5] a “fiasco”,[6] and a “PR catastrophe”.[6]

Early advertisements referred to Dasani as "bottled spunk" or featured the tagline "can't live without spunk". These slogans were used seemingly oblivious to the fact that spunk is slang for
semen
in the UK

All I can think of when someone brings up Dasani

I'm usually a tap water guy but that might be because the water in my part of the UK is great. I just carry one of these in my bag with me

But if I do go for bottled I usually just go for which ever spring water is cheapest, the difference in taste is negligible to me. I stay away from shit like "smart water" though. Just purified water with the minerals that are normally in spring water added because purified water tastes like ass.

It's fuckin' water dude what do you mean "healthy"?

Hehe we always have those in these water flavor/good water threads.

Personally I really enjoy drinking Kirkland (Costco) water, Fiji (so soft and easy to drink) and Smart water.
I've never drank Voss but would like to some day.

Close behind is Crystal geyser.

Nasty is Arrowhead.

I like Arizona Vapor Water and Poland Spring. Not a fan of the tap water taste here. Kinda funny to see a bunch of people complaining about those buying bottled water when they're probably the same people on the gaming side blowing all sorts of money on collector's editions and anime statues.
I'm one of those people too, shhh... well, not the anime figurine part

I usually buy a one liter bottle of SmartWater at the beginning of the week and refill it with the refillable gallon jugs of water from Walmart.

I grew up in a farm house with a contaminated well that we weren't supposed to use for drinking water, so this is kind of what I did my whole life. I moved to the city now, but my tap water smells like chlorine and tastes like pure iron. It isn't clear, either. I'm sure it's safe to drink, but I'm okay with filling up 4-5 gallons of water each week and doing what I'm doing.

The SmartWater bottle fits my bike cup holder perfectly, and I feel like a liter bottle is a good way to mentally check how much water I'm drinking that day.

I'm lucky to live in a city with some of the best tap water in the country, so I usually drink that. If I do canned/bottled I do carbonated water.

UK, too. I have a SHO one, really good at keeping water cold even when it's really hot outside.

For bottled water I usually get poland springs but mostly just for the bottle shape, which I like when playing basketball. Otherwise, I drink tap water, though usually put it in the fridge in a bottle.

When I go on vacation, especially to the south, I'm more likely to drink bottled water because the water in hotels is usually gross tasting.

Zephyrhills water if you lived anywhere near Florida, otherwise smart water is fine too.
Filtered tap water has that delicious taste of free water.

Never drink dasani water though, that shit tastes like metal.

Bottled water is such a scam. Nestle is loving how people have taken to buying the stuff.
Pepsi and Coca Cola, too.

I like fiji and smart water but I don't usually buy bottled water. The last apartment we lived in had rust coming out from the faucet after that we started buying and refilling our gallon jugs. I tend to like my tap water since most of our water comes from an aquifer. Also if I am outside working or playing with my son bottled water never makes me feel hydrated just thirstier for some reason so I stick to tap water.

I just buy those emergency end of the world straws that can filter the water out of anything and when i get thirsty just find a puddle by the road or a garbage can with some garbage juice at the bottom.

The grand majority of people can't tell the difference between bottled water and tap water unless the tap water is from Flint.

If they guess correctly then it's still a guess.

Being a dude who has lived in a country that didn't have clean water, it's a bit disgusting to see people who have clean water readily available, talk about which bottled water to buy.

Fuck that shit. Buy bottled if you're out and about and don't have a tap available. Otherwise just drink from the tap.

God knows how much dirtier the bottled water is, considering there aren't that many regulations when it comes to transporting the stuff. As well how fucking wasteful it is.

In terms of being healthy and not too expensive (like Fiji or Evian)?

What to look for?

I heard Aquafina is junk? Looking at all the reviews for ph and acidity is just confusing.

Unless you live in Flint?

Try "Tap" it's a great brand of water and it is delivered straight to your doorstep. Yes Tap, a brand of water that is great quality and beats all other brands on sheer price/quality ratio. On top of that, Tap is fantastic in that it doesn't add to the pile of plastic in our oceans. Tap is a very concerning and eco friendly brand. Try Tap today, it is sold right in your Kitchen. :).

If you live in a state that is fucked over by Republicans? Then I'm sorry and you can disregard what I said up here.

Where can I preorder?

My girlfriend used to love Camelbak. Bought 1 big (gym) and 1 small (work) for her and gave me 1 big. The nozzle get really grimy fast and impossble to clean on the inside.
I've got one of those 🐫baks which squirts heaps far and it too hot real grimey. The one i have your able to take apart the entire nozzle in about right pieces, clean thoroughly and put back together.

Eska is great. High Ph balance. From an esker in northern Quebec.

Happy Water from BC is great too.

Edit: despite what people are saying, there IS a big difference between waters both in terms of taste profile as well as mineral content and acidity or alkalinity.

Sufferers of GERD and IBS may benefit from drinking higher alkaline water. I know I do.

Instead of having a stupid thread to talk about bottled water, lets discuss what you should put your tap/filtered water in. I suggest one of these, they're great. Keeps water cool forever!

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.

Love my 18oz one, fill it up constantly throughout the day though.

San Pellegrino is my brand of choice. By which I mean that the color of the bottle and the foreign name are the perfect cocktail for making booze look inconspicuous. "What's he drinking? Oh, it's fancy carbonated water!" nah actually I'm hammered

Drink tap water. Saves you a ton of money. And if you aren't down with that, just slap a filter on your sink.

I use a water jug with a filter so I can get cold drinking water whenever.
