Man...i hope Ringed is longer than Ashes because that's quite disappointing both from a quality and quantity POV..

Also, i'm not sure why...but the undead match PvP just ain't working for me in terms of 'feel'....it just seems so 'pointless'.

Rnged has like double the content than Ashes.

totally forgot to get ready for this, checked my save last night and it's at NG++ at the grand archives, having done the first DLC.

I'll just need to do Lothric and then I can access the new DLC right?

Fuck sake at doing another DLC in NG++ though. Stupid platinum hunting.

I think I read something about being able to access the DLC in Ariandel Chapel if you have the season pass.

Woah, that would be amazing. Really want to play it NG+ but I was already getting bored replaying untill the Cathedral recently.

From DSIII wiki:

How to Access The Ringed City DLC
The Ringed City DLC is accessed by traveling to Kiln of he First Flame, and finding a new bonfire before Soul of Cinder that transports you to the DLC location. There is also a bonfire you can find in the Painted World of Ariandel, in the chapel by Sister Friede.

I beat ds3 a while back I think around level 50ish. Would I be way over leveled going into either dlc?

Extremely underleveled for the new one since lvl+100 is recommended. Obviously that will always depend on where you allocated the souls, but 50 seems too low unless you are looking for a really hard challenge.

In the first one the enemies do a shit-ton of damage already.

I'm trying to power through to the end again on my file but not played it in ages, what do the humanity things besides the area names indicate? How populated an area is?

WAT

source pls

Vaati said it took him that long on Reddit, person who said it was Londor changed post so skeptical on that front now. However there are logical hints you could follow that would shugest something Londor related will be in the Ringed City.

Pilgrims, desert, something something Sword of Avowal, Sable Church etc.

Glad that it's available in the painted world, i forgot to advance my current playthrough to the end for this dlc!

so psyched for this. i loved Ashes and found the claims of it being underwhelming were overblown. can't wait to dive into this this week!

Thank you, my friend. Won't even bother doing the Archives then. Will just jump back to the Ariendel bonfire.

There are no would-bes, since they were once weighted individually when they first came out. I played them each as soon as they were released and they still offered a way better package than this first DLC.

Agree to disagree...

Shirrako (YouTuber) is starting to upload the OST for the DLC.

Oh boy. Oh boy.

FromSoftware going out with a bang.

Naturally beware of name spoilers, if ye go there.

Is it 100% mechanical, though? I wonder if I get any different dialogue if I go through the DLC. I have both locations available anyway.

860mb update. Is this the dlc?

DLC has been split in the latest updates, so I guess it's part of it but not everything. You already downloaded part of it last Friday.

How many bosses are in the dlc?

Also, any mission with a good design as Artorias of the Abyss?

Dunno about the second, haven't watch anything, I only heard that level design gets better as you proceed through the DLC. About the first
there's 4 bosses, 1 of them optional.

From the Push Square review, spoilers:

A handful of alternate versions of bosses that you've defeated in the base game can be found wandering parts of the city, hammering home the fact that what you're exploring is indeed somewhere very much detached from reality and the end of something big.

Wow, that's cool.

Oh so I dont have to get to the end to enter it? That's saved me a slog.
