I don't know about that for the past month I've only been playing SFV with my old friend from Saudi Arabia and I live in Canada east coast, heck i would say when i play with him i get better connection than what i get from playing the people I know in the West coast of NA.
SFV's netcode continues to baffle all.

It does?
In the video guile lost even though he had a ton of grey health.

Most people who don't have the game are going to use it as one though.
It does, because gray life mattered. If it didn't he would've won. Your life total is your green bar, not green + gray.

This is actually stated in the game's tutorial, which no one does lol

lol SFV

That is what i and sayad were saying and you disagreed with it.
You misunderstood the use of the word 'count'. The original question from CountBlack was 'Does grey life count towards your total health remaining?' and not 'does the fact that your green life has been turned to grey counts?'.

Routing path issues will always be a huge part of online play. I live in Bahrain, it's like 20 miles way from Saudi Arabia, yet connection with people from there is the worst in all p2p games. I can play fine with pretty much every surrounding country and even get better connection with EU players than with those from Saudi Arabia!

Lmao, I think we're saying the same thing.

What meant by gray life doesn't matter is that during remaining life calculation, how much remaining gray health basically get ignored and only green health is counted, thus, how much gray life you have at the end of the round doesn't matter! Only green health does.

That Arabian infrastructure.

I definitely can play against people from Bahrain without problems. What you said was absolutely true, though. I used to get around 80+ms while playing Overwatch on European servers but something changed and I can get around ~120ms. the suspect is the routing protocols.

I'm late, but just started getting into studying frame data and installed the FAT app. Really fun to play around with. I always knew Laura's s mp was really active, but not 5 frames lol. Still not the God button that was Makoto's, but good enough!

It's a solid AA too, so you can easily meaty them after they land from being hit. The air resets off a combo are also great.

good to see capcom giving stages some love too. I wonder if they change other stages too?

Probably pretty late on this, but I'm amazed at the changes they've done to Guile's stage. It feels so much more alive. I really hope they keep this standard up with every past and future stage.

Does the PC version look a lot better than the PS4 version in menus and in game, or is it just my monitor is better than my TV? Everything looks so clean on the PC.

Just found out they actually went ahead and added animations to the Guile throwback stage such as breakable crates, background objects and people reacting to hits, more NPC and vehicle animations etc.

Call me crazy but for me this is quite big and welcome news! It not only adds aesthetic polish to this game, it also makes each stage feel consistent with others and especially with the original stage lineup (though we are still missing stage finishers for DLC stages it seems).

Has anyone seen new animations for the other throwback / DLC stages in the PC beta?

Edit: forgot to give credit to VesperArcade for doing such an awesome job on keeping us informed nearly daily. Check his video here.

This is cool, and I hope they eventually fix the NPC animation frame rate in the base stages as well, at least on PS4 Pro and PC. I'd much prefer that to new DLC stage transitions. The stages are still the weakest part visually. I wish they didn't have the ugly filter too.

Man, that new Ryu cr.HP kinda sits wrong with me. Liked the old animation better. Doesn't really matter but it kinda looks funky. This is a beta though, so maybe it'll look better once the update gets pushed.
