April PS+ Lineup: Drawn to Death, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, More

"Free" is about the only price I'd pay to play another Jaffe game after that bullshit with Twisted Metal. But is it really as bad as beta players make it seem?

Playing the beta, the aiming wasn't that good, and the art style quickly gets old and worst distracting. There are times you can't tell what you are aiming at

Definitely going to play Lovers in Dangerous Spacetime.

Definitely not going to play any of the rest.

Curses and Chaos is soooooooo gooood.

I'll play a couple games of D2D. That will be enough to determine if it's something or not because I didn't care for it after the beta.

As for everything else, they could do better than that. Sorry if that comes off very dismissive towards the other games. But this isn't a new service. They know that they should really do better to offer something that would appeal to subscribers who are not interested in a specific style of games.

If they can't balance it out right from month to month they should consider repackaging the whole service. Just because people need the service for multiplayer isn't a good excuse to keep shoving certain games down their throat. What happens if people decide not to use your service for multiplayer one day?

Gotta wonder how many people just re-sub for the benefit of going online and don't even actually download some of these games. I guess it wouldn't matter what they offer if that's the case.

I personally feel like Sony started something good with this back on PS3, but that was a long time ago. Right now the service needs a shake up. Not even talking about adding more AAA games. But something to make it seem exciting again.

Invizimals? Wouldn't that require a camera? Although I'm not familiar with the PS3 iteration, so maybe not?

I love Curses n' Chaos! Really fun single-screen arcade-style score attack game with a gorgeous palette and fantastic soundtrack.

Feels stiff at first, but playing around with the timings of jump and attack you can cancel recovery and do some really cool screen clears.

The downside: I buy every Tribute game hoping it will be as good and it never is :(

Just out of curiosity, does anyone think Drawn to Death had any chance for hype had it not been offered for free this month?

They don't care. People pay to play online.

People will always want to play with others online. If your friend plays on PS4, you have no choice but pay for Plus. The only free option is PC now, as Nintendo will start the paid online this fall.

Practically everyone. Sony sold huge amounts of Plus accounts after PS4 with its paid online requirement came out. PS Plus is an online play service, there is no point pretending that it's anything else.

People paid for years of Xbox Live Gold when its only purpose was to allow online play. It doesn't need to be exciting.

I enjoyed Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime back in February when it was GwG on X1. Not sure if I'll go through it again on PS4 though.
Will give Curses ‘n Chaos a try. It looks interesting enough unlike the rest.

I love the diversity of PS Plus titles, makes a nice palette changer from all the AAA games released.

Haters gonna hate.

Oh, ok I guess. Been meaning to try out Lovers & see what the deal is. Not the best month for me, but hopefully Drawn to Death is good.

Lovers we got on Xbox. Might give Drawn to Death a shot. Has never looked anything special since it's announcement. Otherwise not a great month.

Usually my opinions of PS+ months vary from underwhelming to pretty good. However, I'm not sure I have seen such a bad month.

Sony knows we're all to busy anyways with Q1 games XD
Maybe that's why they are not even trying. Hopefully the summer selection improves.

Fairly weak lineup, for me at least. DtD just looks ugly and Spacetime was on GwG last month. Haven't heard of either Vita crossbuy game, hopefully they're notable.

I was going to check out DtD eventually. It's nice to play Jaffe's game for free, even if it's just a passing distraction. Game seems a decade in the making.

I don't think either of the PS4 games are going to get any play from me and I already have Curses & Chaos... Oh well, can't win 'em all.

so PS+ giving us a F2P game as a freebie?

Because Drawn2Death is a F2P... right? because it felt like it during the beta (which was free and offered trophies even!)

What a garbage lineup, maybe the worst month of all time. At least last month was good cuz yeesh.

1600 likes vs. 8300 dislikes right now :lol

The visual style either clicks or drives you away after 15-20 minutes. The gameplay is OK.

I wonder when they are going to give Knack and Shadow Of Mordor GOTY Edition. They gonna deplete all the PS4 lineup and not give them.
