It's not gonna be light on specs. They specifically worked with DF on this for a reason and Phil has openly said E3 will be about software not the hardware of Scorpio.

I think they will save the price for E3 but I expect we will know a substantial amount about the hardware on Thursday

This is gonna be a spec reveal. E3 is for games. And they said many times Scorpio isnt gonna get exclusive games. (not for now)

I suspect this reveal will be more hardware focused with e3 being more games focused.

I think this shows a lot of confidence by MS that they're willing to let DF do an exclusive reveal. This also hopefully addresses my biggest complaint about the PS4 Pro reveal! Technical talks aren't very "sexy" and can easily kill the momentum you'd want in a stage presentation.

I wonder if this means we'll have the tech talk now, and a short look at the hardware/release date/price at E3?

Was a lot announced? I might have just forgotten. There are games im excited for like state of decay 2 but im pretty sure that doesnt need Scorpio to run it properly. I want to see Scorpio specific projects like Crackdown really come out and blow me away. I bought mine last year with Gears 4 and Horizon 3 and really enjoyed those but after that I havent touched it at all.

I guess MS would say that it's not a real reveal until the name has been revealed and console shown. This is about the specs.
