Giant Bomb #27 | http://cbsinteractive.com/careers

Was at a local bar/studio holding a game night and was asked to showcase some artwork, so I took it upon myself to put someone by the bar...

they should do a quick look of h1z1 koth first. there's some Jimquisition copy/paste stuff going on with battlegrounds.
Lmao, really?

Playerunknown is the creator of the game mode in H1z1, and it's predecessor Arma 2/3's battle royale mods. Did he steal the idea from himself?

Battlegrounds is already way closer to the original concept than H1z1's arcadey spin on it, plus there's a chance of actual progress in this game since it's barely been in development a year and H1z1 hasn't received meaningful content updates in years.

Named my character in Persona 5 Scottie Pippen
Named my team The Ghoulies

Feel pretty happy with my name choices...

Scottie Pippen and The Ghoulies

Was very close to naming my team #Millennials

Could I go and put this on a shirt? There's a place a block away from my apartment that does screen printing.

I sell screened shirts online through Spreadhsirt and I can try to get this one up on my shop sometime this weekend once i rest up:

https://shop.spreadshirt.com/WolfOfVictoria/

the hard thing is some screenprints with gradients can be a bitch if done via traditional screen printing techniques.

Normally I'd be cool with you going to a shirt shop, but I've been planning to get the GB boys on shirts to sell for a while.

If GAF had another shirt design contest like they did years ago, I'd love to make some more GAF inspired tees ^_^

No problem man, figured I'd ask. I'll keep an eye out for listings on your site then 👍🏾

I really hope they do a Film and 40s for Furious 8 when it gets released on blu-ray. What a great series and I hadn't seen anything past the first one before this. I feel like I totally missed the memo about them becoming insane action movies so just ignored them, but they are totally my thing.

Seeing Mass Effect again... maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

I bought a 360 because of this game and never regretted it. Loved it.

I played Mass Effect twice on 360 and twice on PC. Mass Effect 2 twice on PC. Mass Effect 3...once. Passed on Andromeda entirely. I'm saddened by the direction it's gone.

When I have time I want to replay Mass Effect 1. Can't believe it's a decade old later this year.

Great stuff yesterday. Love to chill with UPF after a long day of work. Films and 40's was very special. Most importantly the Playdate introduced me to "Old Horny."

About 2/3 through the Beastcast, I was thinking it was a little dry. Then Dan's Drawn to Death impression . . . amazing.

That's fuckin cool.

Do you guys remember when Alex reviewed Big Rigs for Gamespot?

Yup, that's exactly when I became a fan. He also did a speedrun of the game at AGDQ2015.

Dan's "WTF are you doing" reaction was so good.

okay so now that we've been through all the movies, we can do this with some sense of authority

Vinny: Bryan. Kind of a cornball, but overall a welcoming personality. Family man.

Jeff: Dom. The de-facto patriarch of the family. Has a sketchy past of doing uncouth shit with his friends at his house, but is a good guy at heart. He loves the old cars.

Dan: Hobbs. Things take on a new, ridiculous complexion when he's introduced. Wrestling ensues.

Jason: Elena. Introduced alongside Hobbs, and is decidedly more straight-laced. Enjoyable despite not getting as much screen time.

Rorie: Mia. Has been around for a long time, but typically in a supporting role. Often seen behind a computer.

Drew: I don't think I need to explain that it's Han. Cool motherfucker with incredible hair. Sorely missed.

Alex: Sean. Spends most of the time on a different coast from the rest of the crew. Some people don't like him, but he totally has his moments.

Brad: Roman. Doesn't really do a whole lot compared to some of the others, but he has a great singing voice, I guess?

someone help me out with the rest

Alexis is Gisele who left before his soulmate Drew (Han) left.

Honestly I would say Dan is Roman who is the joker.

Brad and Jason are Tego and Rico.

Seeing it again makes me realize how much I miss the more serious tone of the earlier games. Even Joker isn't trying to crack a joke every other sentence.

Now that I finished Nier Automata I'll just say that it's one of the few video games, maybe the only one, in the past few years that tried to say something meaningful and managed to really succeed. Also it's just a super fun ass action game on its own too.

It's already critically acclaimed but I feel it'll grow in stature in the following years, just like the original Nier did. GOTY contender here and it'll be a shame if Alex is the only one on staff to finish it.

The only one before that is the original nier and before that msg series

It's like games can be good when they know they're video games and use their limitations as benefits and don't try to cram a movie experience into a video game like most of the AAA games out there

And like say what you will about something like mgs4 and it being a movie meme but god damn it's more of a game in that sense that like 80% of that market
