I been defending Super for months, even during the horrific end to the Future Trunks arc but this...this I can't defend. Literally screamed "this is stupid" when I saw 17 going toe to toe with SSB Goku. What kind of nonsense is this? Super Saiyan 2 Goku should have been more than enough to take out Android 17 considering the huge power difference between the two. "B-but he trained!" Right single training fighting against poachers and the occasional scuffle with an animal does not magnify your power by that level.

why do people keep saying he's only been fighting poachers? we don't know what he's been doing. goku got like 1000x stronger just by punching and kicking in a white void

What if we go with the idea of Piccolo absorbing the whole Namekian race, but then he spits out eggs after the tournament is over, creating a new generation and race of Namekians who all have Piccolo as their sexless dad? Super Dad God.

It'll be interesting to see how Tien is portrayed in his upcoming episode. Toriyama keeps calling Krillin the strongest human but most people would think it's Tien from overall series portrayal.
Maybe they'll just be like "huh i guess tien is the strongest human after all"

This is where I'm at... I prefer the 'whatever, it's fucking Dragon Ball- Who gives a shit?' responses to the actual rationalization of an Android hanging out in a forest protecting a minotaur or some shit who can now suddenly take on a God... From a place where he got his ass kicked by 1st form Cell. Sorry, that doesn't make any fucking sense. No, it doesn't make the show bad, it makes it nonsensical.

So basically, it's Dragon Ball.

Training in an island = / = Training in the time chamber.

Saying otherwise is ridiculous.

I don't remember but did he actually say he spent all his time training on an island?

And the time chamber is just a room with some extra gravity right? Besides the time dialation effect I don't see what makes that so different.

I'm not even a huge fan of 17 being so strong but the way the reaction is you'd think he showed up and instantly killed Goku and Vegeta.

Nope, they didn't even say he's been on the island for a long time or anything. Dude has infinite energy, and doesn't need to eat or sleep, he could be bench pressing entire mountains for like 3 hours straight in the middle of the night or something.

Nope.

A step over the threshold of the training area brings one immediately into ten times Earth's gravity (the same as that of Planet Vegeta, Planet Zoon, and King Kai's planet); the air gets denser, and the temperature fluctuates, the deeper one goes into the training area.

The 10x gravity thing presents an issue seeing how much trouble Goku had on King Kai when he was a lot stronger, unless kid Goku never stepped outside the living area for the month he lasted.(don't know if the manga ever made a living area distinction though)

Because that's what was said in the show? I think it's dumb too

No ?

He said he "hasn't been relaxing all this time" when Goku said he was surprised at how strong he was, implying he put in some effort to get stronger.

In no way did he say fighting poachers was what made him that strong.

Training in an island = / = Training in the time chamber.

Saying otherwise is ridiculous.

What's ridiculous is ignoring 13 years versus a year. 17 would have gotten there faster in those optimal conditions, that's all.

There's no debate, the writers chose for us. "Can you get stronger if you train on earth ?" yes, it will just take a decade instead of 4 months. I assume you need a biology that allows such progress though, which is the case for 17, through both power and stamina.

Agreed. There is not one point in the series where I can see Krillin surpass him. Tien was still stronger than krillin during the final DB arc and has been training non stop until he killed himself. Tien training with King Kai>>>>>>>>Guru power up. It's stated multiple times that Krillin stopped training while its never hinted at one bit that Tien has stopped.

How does this make sense?

Unlocking once's hidden potential will always be more effective than training. Specially when he only trained for a couple of months with King Kai.

Tien's been too busy drinking to cope with Chiaotzu's death, so he hasn't been training either.

I do think Tien should be stronger since Krillin stopped his training, but I assume once he started back up, it didn't take him to get too long to get back to shape.

I think he spent 5 minutes meditating under a waterfall.

Has to be at least SSB tier.

Is super saiyan blue stronger than super saiyan God? Wtf is the significance of blue?

Merchandise. Nobody at the comitee gives a fuck about your powerlevel bullshit since the start of the Super series. The movies tried but the series doesnt even try.

Who gives a shit except for the Kids in school? Iam here for cool techniques, epic scenes to get goosebumps and feel 9-14 again.

Sadly Krillins destructo disc wont kill anybody ever (nowadays even less of a Chance). Fucking badass technique.

I still think they should keep SSB the status quo for at least another arc. We are already getting LSSJ and still have to milk SSBKK for a bit more. No need to shit out another transformation for Goku just yet. I still want to see a large scale battle that rivals the Frieza and Beerus fights. Show us more what these transformations are capable of with. I wanna see some impressive feats which Dragonball has lacked since BotG.

Great for vegito fans:
According to shin vegitto might be as strong or stronger than Beerus but he has been described as unreliable.

Japanese version. Already out? Time to see what the fuck Toyotaro did this time.

Don't worry you get to see Vegito in all his glory
For only one chapter while a Vegeta final flash against cell is copied again

If this is true then what the fuck.
I always pictured the Gods and Zeno as a realm of their own where Goku nor Vegeta would ever come close to. At what point does Goku become the God of everything.

Can't wait for U7 to win the tournament, and Zeno to give Goku the title of King of Everything. So when it's time to destroy the universes, Goku/ the new King of Everything, says no and doesn't do it.

Next arc? Couldn't you see Beerus getting pissed at Goku for almost destroying the universe because he wanted to fight strong opponents? I could see Beerus as the next main villain.

Goku was already offered the job of Kami and God of Destruction, so maybe he'll just end up with all the gods' positions when he finally gives in.

Goku should have killed him for his lies.

Not if Beerus doesn't get killed from the tournament and Goku's universe us just moved to universe 11. ;)

Guess I'll check out the manga then. The more I think about it, the more I wish they had handled the 17 and Goku battle better, it's not hard to keep the difference in power visible among different fighters, but sometimes they just blur them too much and it's hard to know what is what anymore. The Krillin episode was a perfect example of how to do it right.
