Yamcha is being saved for something big in the next arc. Or he comes in and plays a pivotal end-game role in this arc. Shows up like Jason in the Power Rangers reunion episode and goes "You guys didn't think I'd let you do this without me, did you?"


Edit: I just realized Yamcha was introduced in the overall DB story before Krillin. Like he goes way back to when it was just Bulma and Goku. Toriyama really owes it to Yamcha to be given a better role

What if Yamcha ranges the Park, with Goten and Trunks, and we get a miniarc with them?

I honestly think Yamcha's battle against Tien in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai is one of the best fights in the entire manga. It also ends with Yamcha getting his knee demolished. So maybe the problem isn't that Yamcha isn't having his moment, it's that he isn't having his ass kicked.

Episode was a bit corny and was absolutely unnecessary.

That being said, it had some nice character moments, so i'm waiting for the subs to make sure I get them all !

Next week episode is long overdue.

I just don't like
how they mention his OLD power..... I thought he already was around that level ?

That Beerus dream thing was amazingly dumb. Like what the heck.

Watch next episode have gohan go Ultiumate and then beerus wakes up and says "I dreamt Goku's son was strong, weird"

By old power they probably just mean his ultimate form, not actually strength.

It was a slower, spacing episode, but I think it's a nice breather rather than just rote-ly going one episode per recruitment, that would be too manufactured I think.

It seems it's more dialogue heavy as well, from how it's being explained, so without sub's it might be one of those nightmare episodes.

I just want some more setup for 17. All I ask for.

This week's episode? Eh. The dialogue that sort of mattered was more toward the end.
