Goddamn what a fucking GAME. I know the Bulls are supposed to not be very good, but I love the fight in the Celtics. I love how the guys seem to like playing with each other, like I saw them doing a mid court huddle after one of the Ts and Bradley was laughing and it just felt like yeah it felt great.

Finish it next.

Incredibly Naive
And now the C's will return to playing garbage D and not being able to pull down a board to save their lives.

This is hard not to expect at this point. At times their d is suffocating. Other times they look tired or lost.

Yeah I don't know what to say about Crowder. He had a little spurt there, but he hasn't been good. It was like this last year too, but I chalked that up to the injury he was coming off of.

I pretty much disagree on Bradley. In the last 3 games he has been basically dominant defensively for 6-8 minute stretches, and they've been when Boston has widened their lead each time.

I think the team as a whole is getting their confidence and flow back, but they're not in peak form just yet.

His shooting numbers were objectively mehhh, and gis defense was trash. The whole team sucked collectively the first 2 games.

Celtics shot like shit. They just need one decent 3 ball night out of two since I know they are shooting them.

Honestly at 2-0 down I really thought their only shot was the law of averages. They could NOT hit shit even wide open... Even isaiah has struggled from 3 and the stripe. Once they start falling they should all start at once.

Rondo is high key turning out to be the most important player for the Bulls. Surprise of the PS so far. Hoping he comes back in g6 and they body the Celtics for the last two games.

Disappointed Jimmy Buckets hasn't exploded in this series, Wade for me has been better.
Coach Rondo at least tried

Dear Wade and Butler,

Instead of being cunts the whole season, this is what you should have done. Help your teammates.

Kind regards

Coach of the year: Rajon Rondo

These are my 5 reasons Hawks struggle and no Howard isn't 1 of them...

1. Hawks have 1 person on the WHOLE TEAM who can actually handle the ball. If Dennis is on the bench we are SOL. Calderon is old and slow. Baze is a turnover machine. It's just bad.

2. Hawks lack a guy with Superstar status. That means in terms of taking over a game as well as getting all the calls cause your considered a Superstar. Millsap is an all-star, but last night showed he isn't a Superstar.

3. Bazemore's theft of 70 million dollars last off season when he can't shoot is a noose around this team and GM. Oh and refer back to point 1. He has no handle either.

4. Bench is streaky. They played great in game 4 and Hawks basically won by 10. They play bad Hawks lose close games. When on Hawks have a better TEAM, but Wall and Beal are Superstars. If our bench sucks like yesterday then we lose close games due to point 2.

5. Coach Bud sucks at drawing up plays. Like the refs went to the monitors right before half on the Howard / shot clock deal. So it was a defacto time out. Then call goes in Hawks favor and the play Coach Bud drew up was Baze shooting from Half Court with sooo much time left on the clock that the Wiz got a rebound before the half ended. That was wack.

The Blazers are gonna give him a max.

LOL

Evan Turner signed a 4 year / $70,000,000 contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, including $70,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $17,500,000. In 2016-17, Turner will earn a base salary of $16,393,443, while carrying a cap hit of $16,393,443 and a dead cap value of $70,000,000.

2016-17 Season:
PPG/APG/RPG/MIN
9.0/3.2/3.8/28.2

Given all those problems it almost seems like the Hawks are over-performing by taking the Wizards to 6 games, most of which have been fairly close.

Hawks are an enigma in that you could argue they are the only team in the East that made the playoffs without a Superstar. Yes they have some all-star players, but I'm talking someone people consider a Superstar.

All 7 other teams have at least 1 Superstar.

Hell you could argue it's been this way for the past few years.

Who is the Super Star on the Celtics?

Please don't say Horford or Isiah....

Celtics: none
Cavs: LeBron, Kyrie
Wizards: Wall
Raptors: Demar
Bulls: Butler
Hawks: none but at least Millsap is really good
Bucks: Giannis
Pacers: PG13

Isaiah gets more of the Superstar treatment even if you don't think his game is that way.

Basically agree the list posted. Millsap is an all-star, but he's never been treated as or looked at as a Superstar.

Nothing wrong with the list considering how they are viewed in the game and how they get the treatment independent of if you think their game meets the criteria.

Most on the exclusion of Thomas. I think most of them fit the criteria. The definition of how a superstar is viewed has changed in my opinion the last few years.

The only superstar on the East is LeBron. The other 5 are all on the West. All the other people on the list for me are stars.

Every team in the NBA has a superstar outside of maybe Brooklyn.

I'd disagree. Nobody treats Millsap as a Super. I'd argue nobody on the current Heat roster is a Super either. I'd say the same for a couple of other teams like Charlotte, Sacramento, or Brooklyn.

kemba started getting respect when he improved his 3 point shot these past two seasons

Curry, KD, Kawhi, WB, Harden. You can argue CP3 as well.

People using superstar too loosely, a lot of those names are stars. Millsap on the other hand, is just a very good player.

I agree with this notion. Although, Anthony Davis has earned the Superstar right after this season. Dude is legit.

Not sure who else..

East:
Lebron, PG13, Melo?, Wall?

West:
Curry, KD, Kawhi, WB, Harden, CP3, Davis

Stars but not "supers":
Irving, DeRozen, Giannis, Love, Butler, Klay, Hayward, DMC,
