Technically true no matter how many characters there ends up being. We already know there's at least 10...maybe 12-14 at launch is reasonable to hope for.
With 7 weeks until launch, that is within the realm of one new fighter or so revealed per week with room for a surprise/hidden character in the final game.

The character design in this game is so good.
Trueeeeeeee. Game still hasn't clicked on me but the character design is simply top notch. Pretty chill and colorful characters. Cosplayers are going to have a blast when dressing like them.

Not sure if I should be ashamed that the first thing I thought of when I saw Helix was Zac From League of Legends.
That said, I have to admit that this is another great character design. It is one thing to make a slime creature that looks to not have as much power as the other fighters, but for him to stretch as it can and be able to even dodge like that does show another special kind of character that could be used to devastating effect if left in the wrong hands. You know that if that does get pulled off in high end competitive play, the crowd will lose their minds. Can't wait to see the next character.

Well bare in mind that E3 is a week before ARMS comes out. If anything else, I wouldn't be shocked at all if we find out that not only does ARMS get Amiibos, but they probably will get the same treatment like the Guardian Amiibos where you can reposition their arms anyway you like.
The idea really does sell itself!
