Nothing, as usual. I NEVER get these reward emails and shit. US only, or is this just some shit that doesn't work correctly?

I'm italian and I've recived both Horizon and BB themes.
You have to check if you have agreed to recive e mail of advertise from Sony.

Finally! I can't believe it took Sony so long to properly reward players for actually sinking time into their games! As if people were content with a number next to a platinum trophy icon. Yeah right. I hope that more devs see how more engaging they can be by saving the odd avatar/theme/email so that platinum players really feel like they've earned something useful. I mean, they want players to play as much of their game as possible so I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing them saving more exclusive content like ringtones and desktop wallpapers!

It's an obvious next step. When players get platinums they should get a reward. This also prevents short-term used sales.

You get useless stuff like wallpapers from Nintendo some time now for just buying their games. I don't know why such a thing is a reward in the first place, it's just digital artwork which should be free and available from the get go for everyone who invested money into the game.

It would be cooler if you'd get a 10% discount voucher for the PSN or something like that.

If you are not getting any emails for your platinum trophies you might have to enable promotional emails from sony. I got the Bloodborne platinum a few months ago but as soon as I enable promotional emails I received an email with the theme. Check you account setting to see if you have it enabled.

I'm pretty sure most folks complaining about not getting these emails do have that option checked. That's why we're complaining. I've had it checked for years. I've checked it and unchecked it and rechecked it and changed my email, but nothing works.

Scratch that.

It never occurred to me to do it before but I just searched for "Bloodborne" in Google Inbox and the unread, archived mail was there. I migrated from Gmail to Inbox years ago and in Gmail I had a filter setup to label and auto archive any messages from Playstation. With those settings I could still see I had messages next to the label in Gmail, they just wouldn't pile up in my inbox. It seems that renders them basically invisible in Inbox though. 409 unread messages.

It seems I got the theme email 2 days after getting the trophy.

After searching my email folders, it seem I got it after all! Thanks GAF!

Having not known this was a thing, in retrospect, I'm kind of surprised such a high-profile release as XV doesn't give something for a Platinum.

EDIT: Oh, actually, could it have to do with being multiplatform?
Seems like all the games I'm seeing listed so far are PS exclusives.

At this point I think its the psn accountd that are broken. I swapped emails between two accounts and the email that never recieved anything started having emails flying in. Meanwhile the other email stopped cold turkey

Sony should allow us to use trophy images as avatars. It's such a shame they haven't implemented this feature yet.
