I was confused by part of your post until I discovered that "shard shop" isn't a thing I have access to since I don't have anything above 5-star

Also, as far as the main currency - is it still the case that it's better to spend it on level/energy refreshes to farm specific guys than to buy chromium packs? I have over 3,000 apparently so i am curious if that 8 pull with a guaranteed character is worth a shot.

It's better to use it for refreshes for sure as those packs really don't seem worth it normally but hey you could get a good pull! They are fairly free with the currency giveaway so, if you've got it and you wanna give it a try, might as well.

I've bought a few smaller packs when they gave out sorry money for downtimes and stuff.

I believe if he kills someone, he gets to shoot again. It's a perk he has as a boss.

I just spent 5k ally points on bronzium pulls and ended up getting Biggs to 5-star and straight pulling Boba Fett. Almost makes up for how completly awful the 8 pack chromium pull I did yesterday was.

We are doing Heroic raids so if you want to be raiding and feeling like your contributing it might be a good idea to wait. That said, you get good rewards from Heroics even doing zero damage probably better than what you get now so even if you have one 7 star you can do these and get Han shards. We'll be happy to let you grow as we can easily clear the raid currently.

So I've been meaning to get back into this game for a bit after all the Rogue One hype, but I figure my old teams from last year are probably that good anymore. Anyone have any comp advice for a team to get me to floor 3+ of Cantina battles?

Finally hit max level (again). I like the idea of the ship battles but they just take so long. Do I need to star/level up my pilots or are their benefits just gear based?

So many things to do. My main/mixed team is just on 80, I'm levelling jedi and rebel teams (all 7 star, mid 70s) for events - I have five star Palpatine but the next level destroyed me. Meanwhile my dark side team is a little behind and it's slow going with ship battles, a few 3-4 star ships in the mid 60s to 70 at most.

I ended up joining some random guild that invited me because I didn't really know anyone else who played, which has been pretty disappointing- it's fairly dead so I'm never getting those Han Solo or General Kenobi shards.

As far as f2p games go, I really enjoy this one. Despite the f2p model I don't really feel like I'm being restricted from doing much and can collect most characters if I set targets. The collecting aspect appeals to me, and I hope we keep seeing more new characters from various star wars media, not just the new movies. And I look forward to the Emperor's capital ship just being the death star.

Anyone really still playing this here? A new update is out for a Darth Nihilus, Sith Trooper and some other Sith character. They're events taking place over the next few days. I've been playing this game for a month and a half. Still haven't spent any real money on it but I think I'm getting the hang of it. Unfortunately after all this time I still only have one 7* character and that is Luminara. I am really trying to focus on getting a good scoundrel and rebel team, currently farming Lando.

This is probably what I'll do. Not interested in spending hours trying to open up that many bronzium packs, which I usually get junk out of anyways lol.

I was on 250,000 or so and eventually got the number down by hitting buy an extra dozen times or so any time I went in that menu.

The March daily log-in shards are for Chopper. Not who I would have picked, but hopefully it means more Rebels are coming. Of course I'm hoping for more KoTOR with Nihilus, but it might be a wait since he came with his little buddies.

I used Leia, Stormtrooper Han, (arena shards), Luke (Cantina shards, 7-D Light Side), Biggs (Cantina, 4-A Dark Side,Galactic War shipments) all at seven stars and Ackbar (arena, maybe ship currency now?) at about six stars. It was enough to unlock the Emperor and get him to 5 stars before hitting a wall, but I spent the time between the first two times the event hit getting those guys trained, Han aside. Wedge would probably be better than Ackbar for Biggs/Wedge synergy but I didn't have him and couldn't farm him (he just recently hit Cantina 6-F if you access to that).
