Turns out I didn't fuck up my trial attempt but Scumi stops any damage to Bahamut at 40% so he can kindly megaflare your ass! That's why I couldn't one shot this fool.

Well, I have Refia (but no Double Cast). I have Ling, but she's not at 100 yet. I have Noctis and Orlandu. I don't know who Y's is. I guess the ELT version is just a hit or miss thing?
Yeah I noticed this too, in one of my rounds I did a Divine Ruination chain with two Orlandeaus and his healthdidnt budge....now I know why. I remember it being around 40% as well. How annoying.
Great! You're very lucky you have Orlandeau and Noctis, you will need to use that Orlandeau and a friends one to chain two Divine Ruination skills. For Noctis I just used Warp Break / Point-Warp / Comeback when needed. It's a shame you don't have Dual Cast as I made good use of Refia and her Full Revive and Curaja spells. And sorry, by "Y's" I mean Y'shtola, I was just being lazy to look up the right spelling. If you have her, she has Dual Cast via Presence of Mind.
As bad as you make it sound, that's some easy chaining, with moonblade/saka/bm/dks... sounds super easy to have a full group o bad asses~ but i know what you really meant...
I'm just using this quote as a springboard so don't feel like I'm singling you out, but to anyone else thinking about spending lapis on this banner, do keep in mind we're less than two months out from the GL 1 Year Anniversary and we're only likely due for 1, maybe 2 infusions of story lapis between now and then. Don't break the bank if you can't afford to replenish it.
While I still don't have her TM spear, I've tried multiple setups but I can't get Reberta to be better than Orlandeau for this Bahumut Raid. 3 Orlandeaus can kill the current ELT Bahumut in 1 turn, Reberta's Crimson death takes around half the hp off of him using Rage first (but it takes multiple turns to setup).
Even if killer works with Jump, I don't see her being that great in this event. Which currently is fairly easy anyway.
She's still a great unit tho, her "breath" moves are pretty amazing. I'll test her more when I finish her TM.

Ah, Y'shtola. I have her and at 100. She's been replacing Refia recently since she has Dual Cast and Refia doesn't. I guess I can bring her anyway, because a good healer is still worth having. So my group will most likely be CoD, Y'shtola, Noctis, Refia, and Orlandu with a friend Orlandu. I'll give that a try and see how it goes. I don't have much hope since I don't have super awesome weapons or a lot of TMRs.

I know this feeling. Two rainbows during my attempt for a second Trance Terra. One was a Luneth (fuck this guy and his terrible sprite!) and the other was my 3rd Orlandu.....Now I know I sacrificed a goat or two and may have sold the soul of my son in exchange for Orlandu but Gumi come on! Some people haven't even been blessed with one.

This. Spent 3 tickets this morning hoping to get the new mage. Nothing but blues. Back to saving tickets for Rikku. I have to say......things are not coming as quick as they were when I was whaling. My lapis reserves are on E. TM'ing is taking 2-3 times as long because I'm not spamming refreshes. I jumped for joy when I received 500 lapis for finishing bahamut. Oh how the mighty have fallen!

Yup. I did a daily, my free summon, three tickets, got no one, realized Zyrus's TM isn't important enough to drain my lapis or my tickets with Rikku/Ashe on the relative horizon, so I'm putting a moratorium on any more dailies for this banner. Reberta wouldn't even make it into my B-team.
The 300 lapis tickets might still be worth it though.
Really? I should have tested it. I was running with 4 and scaled down and hit just with 3, didn't expect this event to be this easy.
My Orlandeau is (non-Infernal Armlet?) BIS and I can OHKO it with any other Orlandeau I've tried so far, including like, 920 ATK ones with Ifrit instead of Odin, etc.. I don't apply buffs or debuffs first, just 27 chain and /wave.
It being so easy is part of why I think pulling on this banner is bad value. The trial Bahamut is harder than ELT but it's very doable even without the big O. I mean, look at the party Valentus beat it with. So why do I need to pull for Dragon Killers?
Yeah Reberta really isn't the MVP for this event, not by a long shot. Any other chainer I've tested with (Fryevia and Aileen) were better suited than Reberta.
But I see the value of Reberta soley in that this event basically gives you ATK+128 non-elemental Dragon Killer spear without TM farming (basically a free 100% trust), and a few free Draco Spikes (which is the best rod outside of Mateus's Malice).
Its a real shame she isn't that great for this event. In the same vein, Zyrus really can't shine much either.

Bahamut is a chump in all forms. I got all trial challenges except the esper in one try. I even brought Celes along for fun but can sadly say Sealing Blade does not work on Bahamut.

I'm just hoping I end up with a Zyrus at some point for his TM. Gonna hold off on raid summons as long as I can since unit slots are gonna fill up so darn fast (still holding 20 moogles for Freyvia if she ever comes my way)

I'm pretty sure I had the trial glitch out on me. The first mega flare went off as usual. But after that every time he'd gather light there would be no mega flare on the next turn. Made for an easy win.

So the arena mode can be real dumb. All day it's been putting me against people around rank 100. I'm rank 33. I've literally no chance as I'm being mostly 1 shotted. In effect, its locking me out of arena medals and im guessing its because my arena rank is too high for my player rank? Whatever's going on it's a bit annoying.

Yea, my whole team is "man if I maxed out these TMs, what a team I could have!" but I'm at best a casual TM farmer. It takes me a lot longer than the GAF average to make progress on my TMs.
Yea, I always stick with my guns to stick to dailies after my first troll Rainbow on a banner. The sting of disappointment is just too bad. Happened to me with Randi, Orlandu, Aileen, and now Reberta. I haven't gotten an on-banner rainbow since Emperor, who I didn't even want lol. Then I got a dupe of him later.
Yea, it sucks when it's a dupe of a unit you don't even want. I'd even take like an Ace or Lightning at this point for collection sake instead of a 4th fucking Luneth.
As I reported yesterday, Brave Exvius Global is doing pretty good (probably thanks to Taiwanese players lol), so we should get more free stuff/bundles.

Yep we got 2 free summons campaign already, including this one, and one 10+1 free summon.

I think it's possible. Though it depends on how you define salvage. She's never going to be participating in the chain game, but given that GL's Devastate is equal to JP's Devastate+1, you'd hope GL's +2 will be something new and hopefully fairly beefy. 300% ATK on enhanced Berserk is no joke. Our Queen also has an extra ATK+30% passive vs. JP's. Maybe they'll implement a trial that insta-kills all your units if you chain?
Guessing from these options that you don't TM macro. Dualcast's time in the sun has kind of faded; if you picked up Y'shtola from the Ifrit raid I wouldn't say it's a huge priority. Blade Mastery is still really powerful. If you don't TM macro I'd say to put them into a Zidane or two; Dual Wield is still probably the biggest advantage you can secure.
Tell us what your other options and/or already acquired TMs are for better advice, though.
Man, I think the summoning right now is terrible. I think the last time I got a gold crystal was a couple of weeks ago. Everything has been blue and even then it's the usual suspects (Bedial, Clyne, Penelo, and a Amarant). Not sure why I keep pulling since it hasn't even netted me banner units. Which is crazy as hell. There's bad luck, then there's what we have now. So frustrating. Did the free pull today and got Firion, and the daily was Firion. Ugh.

Well I stopped pulling with the Gacha change (3 months ago) and still far from done too, worse if I get new one like Shine.
Thankfully I have 115% trust with Moogles waiting for Rikku
(and then Onion Knight)

Interesting. She not the best chain but far from the worst.
I was hoping the raid would be a bit more challenging. Ifrit was fun as hell. I remember when I tried to brute force it the first attempt and got spanked, it made me feel ready for a challenge. Bahamut raid just fell over to the usual Orlandu tactics much easier.
