Overwatch |OT9| There is no Cow Hero

she's about as independent as it gets though

she's got a self heal (recall), amazing mobility (blinks), good damage to kill people before they can react properly, a small hit box... idk who else is more independent tbh

roadhog is too big of a target and slow, Sombra does mediocre damage, zen is too slow etc

rip ;-;

The closest to Tracer is being independent is Soldier, imo.

I have an alt account I need to level up, I'll probably join you later this week.

What's your alt PSN?

How do you kill the Rein at the beginning of an attack on Hanamura and the team doesn't rush in? How can people be so clueless a year after release. ;_;

2 teams in a row that can't parse out that we have nobody that can actually hit a Pharah.

One of them switched to Reaper after we lost the first point

Oh boy, now a Gibraltar attack where we moved it 30 feet and our Soldier kept hiding. I had gold kills with Zen at 4.

God, that is the weirdest feeling as Zen. You pop up the stats screen and see all golds and silvers, while your team is getting smoked, and think, "Shit, this is my fault. I need to stop DPSing and do more healing." Then you see the numbers attached to the medals and realize you aren't actually DPSing at all, you're just doing it better than your actual DPSs.

And worse yet, you realize there is literally nothing you can do to turn the tide at that point.

Feelsbadman.

Cuz people suck at rushing into 2CP. Seen it too many times where they get a pick and don't rush in. People who dawdle at chokes especially if they play tanks are the worst.

Why do people refuse to switch heroes? Last game there was this Reaper player who absolutely sucked at playing Reaper. Since we only had one tank, we told him to switch to a tank multiple times. What he did instead was go into chat, call us bad names, be rude and constantly brag about how good he was at Reaper. It was the worst.

- Defense on Numbani
- Enemy team pushes payload near the finish
- Wipe them and have a chance to win
- Sees team extend closer to enemy spawn
- "We have a chance to win this, don't exte-"
- Team gets killed
- *dies alone running back to payload*
- Team spams "Thanks"
- *screams internally*

Because they believe they are the best dps in that match even after getting rolled

I'd say Soldier, Roadhog, Genji, all top out higher.

The issue with Tracer is, she is a one hit for about everyone. So she relies heavily on the other team being distracted. Otherwise it's a fairly easy kill. Or she has to constantly fall back.

Enemy team destroying us in KOTH, dude switches from Reaper to DVA to combat the Zarya and Winston who are just having their way with us. Ok.

A dude on my team threw a match (loudly and intentionally, of course) because he lost to the enemy Widowmaker in his last round or somethin'. To do so, he took... Winston.

I just dunno about Overwatch anymore.

Actually, Winston is a fantastic counter for Widow.

What happened to Antiwhippy? Didn't he use to triple up the #2 post count in these threads?

Probably just got bored of the game. I had Persona arguments on here with him a few weeks back.

Since people are sharing: My PSN is nimbys187. QP only though, if I play comp it's either solo or duo with a close friend. Just casual no mics if that's your thing.

Lost 100 SR in the last 4 games because one person deliberately sabotaged the game on match (I don't even mean 'threw'. When you don't try to win, you're throwing. When your using a mei wall to block off your ally's deadeye and dva nuke, you're sabotaging.) and another where my internet cut out due to a thunder storm which made the game think I left so I got hit with huge SR drop, with the other two being just normal losses.

Just fucking hell. I know I'm tilting, but who in the fuck wouldn't. This is bullshit. I don't mind losing if I'm just being outplayed but atleast half of my games have some stupid bullshit going on that straight up shouldn't happen.

I hope this isn't just me, but I'm having problems with landing Reinhardt's charges. When I think I have pinned someone to a wall, they instead just fly to the stratosphere. Then, when I'm just charging away from a fight (either to regroup or flank), I somehow magnetize a Tracer or Genji that are 50 ft away from me, and they get crushed.

How does that work?!

As someone who plays a decent amount of Mei, unless they're intentionally throwing the match, then they probably feel bad for the mistake. Fact is, people "throw" the game all the time by missing shots, initiating ults at the wrong time, making poor judgment calls, etc, it's just that Mei's mistakes are super visible and easy-to-understand.

I've been embarrassed by bad Ice Walls before. Just happens, mayne. ^^

I always check who's online but nothing going on lately. Haven't been pressing the issue though.

From what I've heard owzers couldn't handle the fact that there was no event this week and had to resort to a resident evil movie to ease the pain.

I havent been on much this week but send me a message even if I'm offline. I have ps messages on my phone.

Let's play today if you guys want?

Will do when I'm on, though lately we haven't played at decent hours for you.

Don't think I will be on today before 11PM-midnight here though, but if I can I'll join you guys.

It happened multiple times in a row. I feel fairly certain it was deliberate. This player was basically the only one on our team not communicating, playing Widow on 3/4 of the game and getting nothing done, only to switch to may and just screw everyone else.

And now I lost a game to widow and genji who were definitely using M+KB on console.

I don't want to blame others on my games because the motto is just to play the best you can, since that's all you have control over. But fucking goddamn fuck. I've been keeping track. Half my games have this kind of bullshit flying around. What does it matter that I can turn a match around with one good play when the other 6 people on the other team can do the same goddamn thing and they're actually trying while my team is fucking about.

I know I'm tilting and everything right now, but it genuinely is pissing me off how much I can't stop playing this game because I love it so much when I'm in good matches, but I lose because of things completely outside my control 50% of the time. 250 SR down the drain because of complete bullshit.

Edit: And now we got rolled because no one wanted to go DPS on defense in Numbani. I quit. Fuck this game.
Yeah, I know I'll probably play later, but right now, fuck this game. I goddamn hate it at this moment and want to break the disk in half.

My advice, is whenever a season is coming to a close, it's best to end on a high note and work towards gaining to a higher rank next season.

Actually, Winston is a fantastic counter for Widow.

I mean, yes, you're absolutely right. But that didn't stop the dude from throwing that match... that Widow's username was enough to break him.

I guess it just shocks me, because he was so vocal about it. (essentially: "You! You're impossible to beat! I'm throwing the game so I know this match was pointless!") Some duders in the match tried to reason with him but it was fruitless. The whole thing was bizarre and shook my faith in the Overwatch community to its very core.

This was in QP so I probably shoudn't care at all, but man, it's a bummer all the same; all it takes is one guy to completely ruin a match.

Great and how are you supposed to do that?

People say that you can get into higher ranks by just playing well. And I'm sure that's true, but I cannot play so good that I can compensate for a person going Torb on attack or Widowmaker when they can't hit shit or going in with no DPS or otherwise making such catastrophically bad decisions that they're either throwing or playing so badly that it amounts to the same thing. And that's when they aren't leaving.

Sometimes I get lucky and it's the other team that gets the shitty teammates that make these game ruining picks (which isn't good. I don't have fun when I'm winning because a douchebag is sticking to Torb on KotH), but usually, it's on my side.

Near the end of the season, it's worse than ever, and I'm about to dip down into silver where players do this with more frequency.

Just fuck my life when it comes to this game.

I find that playing a self-stub-staining hero (along with playing a bit selfishly) has help me won the majority of my solo competitive games. Granted, you can't do anything with the twats that are throwing, but I find that ignoring them and working with the other team (usually) compensates for that.

Tried. I mostly played Tracer this season in fact. It just doesn't matter though. The best tracer in the world cannot take on a team of enemies working even moderately well while her own has their thumb up it's ass. Or maybe the best tracer in the world can, but that shouldn't be the bar needed to clear this bullshit.

If I'm just not good enough to advance, that's fair enough. But that should be the reason I don't have a high SR, not because dipshits make asinine choices on my team and I'm stuck with the consequences. I would be ecstatic if I only lost because of games where I am genuinely outplayed. But that's the case only half the time and it's just not fair.

I was in a game on Oasis last night where my team took the first round with absolute ease but somebody decided to leave, so we were down to five for the rest of the match.

The other team's Winston, who looked to be playing properly in that round, decided to just piss about for the remainder of the game. Constantly jumping to our spawn point and running around in circles, never once using his weapon.

Whether he felt it was unfair for us to have someone leave after we done so well he thought it best to try even up the game, or he was just so annoyed with his team in the first round he decided to throw the game, it was a very funny, albeit rather bizarre, spectacle.

Yea unfortunately this game more often than not you have a thrower/tilter/smurf/or someone who can only play one hero and never switches in the game, just hope it isn't on your team. Smurfs are probably the worst thing to happen to the game, and it's plagued comp quite a bit.

Pretty much the reason why I only play 30-40 per season, I'll get master and then my care meter goes way down and I just get sick of it by hour 30-40 and stop playing comp.

Just decided to look at my stats. Yesterday, I was nearly 50:50 on my win ratio. Now, I have something like 95 losses to 175 games played. Seriously, fml. I would need to win nearly every single one of the next 25 games just to break even now.

I'll play with gaffers tomorrow to hopefully tilt less against this nonsense, but goddamn, I almost feel like the best thing I can do right now is just throw away my copy of the game so I don't have any temptation to play it again. When the game works, it's SO GOOD. But at this point, that's maybe 10% of the time and I don't know if it's a good game if I can only enjoy it 10% of the time.
