I bought a gift card and had the code delivered in about 15 mins. Took the gift card and bought a $100 psn code from GameStops website and had the psn funds in my account shortly after. Now to wait for the psn deal to start in 2 weeks. Then get the $15 psn credit after the promo ends on the 20th I assume.

Worked for me, Thanks! I got $100 of PSN credit for $85 now.

So what you are saying is that I can get Tekken 7, Injustice 2, and Friday the 13th the game....get $15 back and also get 10x points since I used my Playstation Visa?

This deal is always nice for grabbing digital only titles but I'm confused on people being excited for it when it comes to games getting a retail release.

It's $15 back for spending $100 so it's 15% back. Gamers Club Unlock at Best Buy is $30 for two years and gives you 20% off any game anytime (except Black Friday last year and maybe going forward). Amazon has 20% off newly released games with Prime.

Best Buy sweetens the deal with an occasional extra $10 back when you preorder certain games. Currently those games are:
  • Middle-earth: Shadow of War
  • Destiny 2
  • Call of Duty: WWII
  • Star Wars: Battlefront II
  • Madden NFL 18

With the Best Buy deal you pay $48 for those games, and then get an extra $10 in credit knocking it down to $38. Yes, you still need to buy the expansion pass that will be $30, but then you get the game and expansion pass for $68 total.

I don't want physical discs anymore. That's why this deal is always appealing.

For fighting games I prefer digital.
I have a PS4 just for fighting games, it is a convenience thing. I switch between games alot.
Other games I like physical and those I play on my Pro.
The sale is only $15, but it also means I do not have to go anywhere, get immediate gratification, and since I have the Playstation Visa like I said before I get 10X points which is never bad.

It's amazing how much more I'll pay just so I don't have to get up to change the disc lol. Not because I'm lazy (Ok maybe a little), but because it becomes an invisible barrier to jumping in to a game as if I have to be more sold on playing a game to get up and put it in than just hitting the X button.

Okay, this is what I'm planning to get:

SFV CPT 2017 pack
GGXrd Rev2 upgrade
Uncharted 4

Uncharted 4 can be replaced with anything else that may go on sale during that period.

Hmm... I can't think of $100 worth of games I'll want during that time. Does simply adding money to your wallet count towards the promotion?

What about PS+ renewals?

Anything that takes money FROM your PSN wallet counts. I don't think PS+ renewals count if they're automated but I honestly have no real idea.

Shit GameStop GiftCard Out of Stock

Dammit!

Newegg selling PSVR for $339.99!

Whoa!

The coupons won't work on pre orders sadly otherwise it would be insane.

Fortunately for me, I've already pre-ordered the games that I feel like I had to be there for day-1, with the exception of Yakuza: Kiwami which I will pre-order soon.

That means I'll only be getting games that are already released and I fully expect there to be some decent sales during that time since it will be E3 season.

Yeah but if they do provide coupons you could always buy something like Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or even the Tekken 7 Deluxe since that comes out the week before.

Promotions like these lost impact for me when Sony started charging taxes on PSN, in NJ you get charged 7% so you would actually be spending 107 but since you CANNOT get 7 PSN credit you'll be spending 110, like i said, not worth it anymore

Protip: Paypal digital gifts on Ebay has 10% off PSN cards today with minimum $100 purchase. Great way to stock up on PSN points before the June 9 deal kicks in.

Double dip!

Are you supposed to get the 10% back during checkout? I'm signed into PayPal with $100 in my cart and it's still shows $100. Do you get the 10% as a refund later?

It took it right off the top in Ebay.

I'm bummed. Paypal Digital Gifts never delivered my gift cards. Ebay wouldn't open a case until today b/c "shipping" was supposed to arrive today, though they always deliver immediately after. PDG would never respond to my inquiry. Just got a refund. Sucks.

Only a few more days left to wait before the bandwagon can officially be jumped on.

Going all in for Destiny 2 edition with the season pass and Star Ocean 3 HD.

Hoping they put up a bunch of the E3 games up for Pre-Order. Probly gonna snatch up GoW, Dreams, Spider-man (if it looks good), and Detroit (PLEASE come out this year!). Love these deals. Every little bit helps out when you're going digital. :)

I'm patiently waiting for the 9th so I can pre-order FFXII, Uncharted TLL, Hellblade, Destiny 2, and hopefully they put up Yakuza Kiwami up for pre-order soon.

Edit: I'll probably use my 15 dollars to buy Yakuza Kiwami if it doesn't get an option to pre-order or on Prey or Tekken 7.
