I am 100% sure that DMC5 is in development, but I have my doubts about it showing up at E3. Maybe TGS. I have the feeling that Capcom will want a quick announcement to release schedule like RE7 had for this DMC5.

My guess is that MVC:I, SFV updates, USFTII, and their new IP from Capcom Vancouver will take up much of their showing at E3.

Didnt the Mvc Infinite leak say DMC5 is going to be announced at E3 this year? The leak so far matches every new character announced so far so...maybe it's true?

I've just come from an evening of playing Nioh, and it seems like a bit of a no-brainer that Capcom reboot Onimusha in the Nioh/Souls style. Everyone wants their own Souls equivalent, and Onimusha would fit the bill for Capcom.

Maybe, it all depends on whether or not DMC5 is announced.

There's no way that they'll announce a new MH at E3.

I expect a weak Capcom showing in keeping with tradition.

I'd love it if they'd surprise me with something like a new Onimusha or Dino Crisis, but not gonna happen.

I expect DMC5, and I'm also hoping for something (anything) on RE2. Overall, yeah, I think they'll probably have a pretty good E3, and I'm looking forward to it. Probably no Dino Chris though. :(

After that Dark Arisen announcement, I'd expect Dragons Dogma 2.

What I really want to know is, will they show Deep Down or a new Mega Man (even one based on the crummy upcoming cartoon)?

I feel like I'm forgetting something they mentioned years back... was it Darkstalkers? 🤔 hmm

I'm really expecting nothing big besides reasonably known quantities like MM Legacy 2 and MHXX for Switch and a blowout for MvCI.

Anything surprising like DMC5 would just be something very, very nice to see.

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
I dont expect shit from Capcom. Went from being my favorite company in the 90s-early 2000s to being irrelevant all in the span of last gen.

Its a shame that they have a huge treasure trove of ips but no idea what to do with them. Probably the most mismanaged company around.

All they need to do is say "Devil May Cry 5" and show silhouettes of the DMC4SE cast and it'll be the best E3 in years

I really have hopes for DMC5 but for some reason it's hard for me to picture it being announced at E3. I will always believe, though.

This doesn't mention E3 and only says 2017.
Dante isn't based on DmC (reboot) version, but classic Dante for those who are worried. Dante isn't based on the reboot version because DMC5 will be announced in 2017.

Edit: But man, I really like this part:
Dante's outfits from DMC1, 3, and 4 are all being included in some way. I imagine DLC. Source said his DMC5 outfit will be there too. Furthermore, his default design will be based on either DMC1 this time or the DMC5 outfit to hype up and coincide with that.

If this is true, then that's as good as confirming DMC5 for E3. Cause there is no way in hell, Capcom would release DMC5's Dante in MvC:I this September, without actually announcing the damn thing beforehand. It just doesn't make any sense. So #DMC5atE3 #BELIEVE

-Gameplay of the Resident Evil 2 remake and DMC5 (Itsuno+Ninja Theory+Platinum, with classic Dante and 60fps) in the Sony conference.
-Character reveals for MvCI and SFV, including a fan favorite SFV (Sagat? Sakura?) character free for all players not included in the 6 characters S2 characters plus Arcade Mode and another single player mode to give more value to the game and boost sales and because 30th Anniversary.
-Multiplatform Monster Hunter focusing western markets: PS4, XBO, PC & mayb Switch too.
-Mega Man reboot by Way Forward with beautiful, 2D HD art style. Call the Shantae or the Wonderboy guys, or both.
-Something else regarding Street Fighter for the 30th anniversary, like a SF3 4th Strike (includes all content like backgrounds and characters from all SF3 games in a single game including extras from DC versions, add a few gameplay tweaks in top plus some Evil Ryu-like shit new character and on ton of it and add all and new game modes) or a Street Fighter Alpha 4 (again, basically pack all the modes -plus new-, stages, characters and extras from the ENTIRE series -including SFA3 Max characters- in a single game and add Violent Ken and a gameplay tweak on top).
-They fire the guy who had the idea of removing all the cool stuff in DR4 that already were there in DR1. PS4 version of DR4 features all these removed things.

Wish they surprised us with that new Street Fighter EX game, but prolly not gonna happen since they're working on MVC. :< Let's hope for a new Monster Hunter then.

I was expecting and hoping to see Resident Evil 2 remake at E3 but now I'm starting to think it's too soon. It was announced to gauge interest and initial feedback and that was only 1.5 years ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if they try to implement a first person mode ala RE7 so major work of the game systems could be in order beyond just remaking the scenarios with modern 3D graphics.

People do understand that classic Dante is the perfect teaser trailer character?

I mean if we get a logo, silhouette, and Reuben Langdon saying "I'm back" my heart will explode right there in the theatre.
