So apparently they changed when it's okay to leave a game and I haven't been getting exp in most of my matches? Fuck you Blizzard. I would always leave at the victory pose screen.

A lot of people derank on purpose so they can play with lower ranked friends/girlfriends/whatever.

Good games everyone, after starting the day with a 6 loss streak it was a good change of pace.
Those high-noons from Ramirez were game changing.
Great Rein/D.Va combo on Nepal with Owzers and Batman, all according to keikaku. But the most surprising thing of the night was Buttchin actually getting kills with the dragon blade, I wasn't expecting that

10-7-2 up to 2338. Lost a little extra at the end there because I accidentally quit out too fast at the end of the match and couldn't get back in time.
Worked extra hard for those 2 draws. Had a Volksaya defense with Symmetra with gold eliminations and a Zarya Hollywood defense where I got a card for 69% average energy/17 high energy kills and had gold eliminations.

I think they secretly buffed the shatter though, because there's no way Owzers could land such good ults three times in a row in eichenwalde
Don't know if you were with us in that match but it was sick, they got destroyed.
I know everyone says this every event, but I seriously think they did something to the drop rates. I've opened probably 10+ boxes without a single skin.
As it stands, I'm not interested in spending any more money for lootboxes. I've bought 10-20 of them for each event thus far because I love the game and I wanna support it, but the devs are now clearly way too focused on silly cosmetic items than actual, substantive content. We've had more heroes released than maps! (And I mean real maps, not these dumb arena ones) I refuse to believe that it's more difficult to balance a map than a hero, given how often it is heroes that break the meta, not maps. And we're still only playing the same three modes. I know they said they weren't interested in serious multi-objective game modes like CTF, but for god's sake, be creative. Give us a tug-of-war zone control gametype or a bomb assault/defuse or something. Instead, they keep overloading us with cosmetics to cajole us into spending money every two months, and who can blame them? This game attracts some serious whales, and with good reason.
But I'm done. Coins and regular boxes for me, from now on, I think. At least until Blizzard at least gives us a new mode and minimum 3 new maps.

Random is random. Had four or five box drops, got two event legendaries. There's no conspiracy.
Well I'm glad you're getting your fair share. But you can see how this is pretty fucking frustrating for the rest of us plebeians, right? Getting a drip feed of the items we want for three straight weeks, then feeling pressured into buying stuff at the end when we've got nothing? I've done it five times now and I'm rightfully upset.

Orisa feels a lot better to play now! Her barrier basically always being available means that she can easily place a shield in the most relevant position at any given moment. And pulling folks off of ledges with Halt is super fun.

That's a smart way to look at it with the relavent position refresh. I loved playing Orisa before and after but it's been quite the adjustment after the patch.
But after the patch its less about doing damage and more, "Reset the point of engagement every 8 seconds"

After hundreds of lootboxes and multiple events I only got my first pachimari icon like two months ago, and those are my favourite (but I did get the event pachi on my first box this time ♥

Yes, it's very clear this game was not designed for teams that have multiple objectives to tackle simultaneously. But I've always liked dynamic objective types, like Zone Control from the later Halo games (if I'm remembering that mode correctly), which I think could work.
The nature of Overwatch's maps suggests to me that a new mode would be have to be accompanied by new maps. Aside from CTF, they haven't ever co-opted the same map for different objective types.

I really like the new 3v3 except for the hole in the middle of the ruins stage. I keep falling down it.
Also, while 3v3 has always been my favorite mode, I now have to adjust to playing 3 different heroes throughout the series. Obviously, my first pick is Roadhog since he's my main and is top tier in 3v3. Next, I pick Mei because I feel like she has a lot of good matchups, is flexible, and can sustain. I'm not sure who #3 should be. I'm sure people will say Soldier or Ana, but I'm not particularly good with them. I picked Reaper a lot tonight and did well.

I still think 1v1 needs to be toned down to FT3. FT5 is potentially a lot of time if you get weird matchups.

With new seasons, is your skill rating completely wiped or is it maintained throughout placement matches?
Example I'll use is Halo. Your TrueSkill ranking behind the scenes is maintained when ranks reset, then you just redo your placement matches against players of similar skill. At least this is how I think it works lol.

At what time does Microsoft usually add the free weekend version on Xbox One? I am looking in the store and it doesn't seem to be there yet. Normally it would be in my Ready to install list but it's not there at all. I DID participate in one of those weekends before though.

I have not been able to win a single arcade game because people refuse to play as a team. Tracer pushes on her own with no healer back up and gets killed in 2 seconds literally, and the team keeps pushing after the tank or DPS die. Not to mention nobody falls back when mercy gets killed.
I'm getting seriously tilted...
