This is still so impressive.

Not really.

Not at all actually.

Aiii

So not worth it
Lost hair, but grew a beard and shaved my head to 2mm so I am owning that shit. Also lost about 60lbs a few years back. I will never be a stud, but I do feel I look better now than I ever did.

I've gone through phases. At the age of 30, I was in better shape than at 20. Now at 36, I'm pre-hypertensive and haven't been looking after myself much in the past couple of years. Ever since my dog of 15yrs died in 2015, my health and state of mind have gone downhill. And then I just lost one of my cats in April.

I'm going to turn it around though. I still look younger than my age at least.

Nope. I looked so much better and youthful when I was 16. I shudder to think what I'll look like when I hit 30. I wear thick layers of suncreen every day, even during winter and I plan to hop on Retin-A soon. Aging is a fucking disease that needs to be eradicated.

my answer.

I'm brown too and brown men tend to age the worst from what I've seen.

I lost the blonde in my hair, my eyes turned green (or "grey"), hairline could be better, beardgame is whack.

My teenager years were rough. Pale, chubby, buzzcut. All I was doing was play videogames and eat like shit.

I've made some gains in the last two years so I'm happy now.

Yeah I've aged really well. I'm only 32 so I shouldn't be that wrecked anyway but I've taken a lot of drugs over the years. Seem to have come out well the other side though.

In here for you friend. 42 and the same problem. Got married at 25 and was quite damn decent looking. Then the weight came. Then the hair left. Then the kids came. The hair won't come back but I've been working on the weight to no avail. My metabolism is like LOLOL WUT?!? A few work friends saw my wedding day pictures and how I looked then. Their response was "holy shit...what the hell happened to you?". Felt bad man.

Show us 😂

Kindergarten (so around ... age 5)

early high school, so around age ... 12

age 25

age 31

i turned 32 today, so while i can't offer any kind of huge "success story", i guess i aged fine. I'm in the best shape of my life, my hair's full and none of it grey, i still can't grow a proper beard (and i've come to terms with the fact that i'll likely never will...), the only wrinkles i get are the ones you get from smiling a lot, so those are charming.
I guess, especially ever since turning ... 18, i didn't age "well", or "badly" ... i don't feel like i aged all that much to begin with. So that's good, i suppose.

So far, I've gotten fatter, but generally have aged well. My skin is doing great, and a lot of people are surprised I'm turning 29. If I go to buy alcohol alone I tend to get carded :p I don't have to update my Facebook pics because I look the same from high school/early college, win/win ;D

I'm 45 and I think I would look much younger than my age if I had a full head of hair. Sadly I don't. At least I don't look older than my age. In good shape and my weight is pretty much where it should be.

22?

talk to me when you hit your 30s.

because that's when things start to get scary

edit: and holy fuck at dude in the Rey costume, that is awesome!

[also, we've aged similarly, still look as young as you do at 34... except i can tell my hair is starting to go now :/ ]

Got darker hair as i grow up.
36 this year got only 3 whites so far thanks to genes from my dad's side.
Tho there is a growing belly down there :/

Within 20 years I've gone from 145lbs and a 45 bpm resting heartrate to 240lbs and a 90. I walked 5 miles a day between classes, then got a desk job and started playing MMOs. Now I'm nothing but excuses and can't lose more than 30 lbs without rebounding. Went from being effectively 5 years younger than my age to 10 older, which is about the definition of aging poorly.

People have always thought I was 4-6 years younger than my true age. I was carded for wedding crashers when I was 31. Thirty one for a rated R movie lol

I'm a brown dude and having lost weight over the last few years, I'd say I have aged pretty well. One thing to note is that taking care of your skin (moisturizing) goes a long way in mitigating the deepening the age lines.

I've aged pretty poorly. At 29, I suffered a stroke... so my motor skills and speech have suffered. I've had a stressful job... I look 40 at 31.i have white strands in my beard. My hair is thinning in the front.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, things will look up sooner than later. Trust me when I say, I have seen one of the worst cases of people looking far older than they are:

There was once a (white) fisherman in of my safety courses (gearing up to be in the merchant/commercial shipping world). The guy was used to being out in the sun for hours on end per day in the course of his work. And it showed. Our instructor thought that the guy was joking when he said his age was (iirc) ~47 years. The instructor said, "B'y (a newfoundland slang for a guy), you look like you're over 70". The guy produced his driving license for the instructor to see and the rest of us were a tad embarrassed for the guy and also astounded that he looked as old as he did.

Lesson to be learned is that NEVER EVER work continually exposed to direct sun without some form of protection, especially if your skin is melanin deficient (and even brown and black folks don't do much better under similar circumstances without some form of skin protection).

Not sure yet, only 25. But I look like I'm in high school still. I legit get asked for my ID at rated R movies still. So far I think im aging like shit.

I just realized this is an ancient thread. So meta.

I just turned 30, and I feel like I haven't even hit my prime yet. As far as looks, my face is a bit more defined than before, but as the saying goes...

Black don't crack. I'm good until 60, knock on wood.

I don't think I look super young for my age (32), but I am okay with how I've aged. My face thinned out as I got older and I got way better at doing my hair.
