Is on Starz. And don't give me that "been banned" talk. This rolled out Friday I think and that's when I mentioned it :D

Ribbing aside, It's nuts that the better version just popped up like this.

Go ahead and read the garbage on that day lol..don't blame me for ignoring the thread. Gonna check it out now, hopefully, if I can watch on my old PC. Starz blocking folks on Comcast via Amazon now..

Yeah got my cable TV channels mixed up. Starz not HBO.

Same thing really.

Honestly it's pretty solid. Bumps the movie up a full point to sit at an 8.0 for me. Adds enough to warrant the rewatch.

Cable channels do this all the time. They more often than not always get recuts of the film's but never release them or advertise them.

Weirdest shit. IIRC, been a while since I've seen the theatrical cut, it adds more to do with Pym and helps balance the third act more, imo

Also, y'all want a chuckle, there is a thread on OT right now that's the most neckbeard ass sexist shit ever, and it's amazing.

on the real, all these crab gaffers know the deal/when we start the revolution, all they prolly do is squeal

What is Great Value J. Cole's real name?

can't have a Great Value brand of a Dollar Tree product

Shenmue was never good

The truth.

Even back in the Dreamcast days I thought it had garbage controls and was incredibly boring. The Yakuza series is superior in every possible way.

i'm a huge yakuza fan but ya'll are on some bullshit here

Decided to jump back into Arrow after sitting out S4 because well...it was trash.

Man coming back to Arrow after Agents of Shield is....tough the small "real life" details that kept the world together are not there consistently in Arrow. Example, Daisy and Co routinely get their asses beat while out on mission visible injuries galore is par for the course. Oliver? Never, his scooby gang one got tortured so it'd look weird if he didn't have bruising but overall? Nah. But honestly even those are small compared to everyone's ability to simply maim their enemies with their projectile. The suspension of disbelief works with Oliver because this show spent a great deal of time showing the viewer how much he trained with his bow. But all these other people? Nah, especially Diggle and Rene I just can't (and these dudes never reload lmao).

I'm going to finish the season but my perspective on this show has changed after not seeing it for close to 2 years.

I'm surprised they haven't called Ollie the "Dark Knight" with how much this show apes Batman mythos. Though honestly...I ain't even mad at it, wasn't back during season 1 or 2, or 3. I do give them props on how they integrate these characters onto Oliver Queen.

i bailed on all the comic shows and only came back for agents of shield (i'm a marvel fanboy anyway), haven't had any regrets. i wanted to hit up flash but i hear that one when down in quality too.

Y'all ever walk away from a game because you initially think it's "too hardcore" then come back all like "wait this game got me fucked up."

Mornin BCT, what's on the itinerary?

I'm about to run up in this ER and get tested because they told me to come to run tests.

As a black man I want to wish you all a controversial good morning.

I have to head out to run some errands but I hope that thread is still active when I get back. Those comparisons are sickening and disingenuous.

To those in the US commemorating Memorial Day, please remember that this is also a very important part of Black History:

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/30/opinion/30blight.html?_r=1&hp=&pagewanted=all

The largest of these events, forgotten until I had some extraordinary luck in an archive at Harvard, took place on May 1, 1865. During the final year of the war, the Confederates had converted the city’s Washington Race Course and Jockey Club into an outdoor prison. Union captives were kept in horrible conditions in the interior of the track; at least 257 died of disease and were hastily buried in a mass grave behind the grandstand.

After the Confederate evacuation of Charleston black workmen went to the site, reburied the Union dead properly, and built a high fence around the cemetery. They whitewashed the fence and built an archway over an entrance on which they inscribed the words, “Martyrs of the Race Course.”

The symbolic power of this Low Country planter aristocracy’s bastion was not lost on the freedpeople, who then, in cooperation with white missionaries and teachers, staged a parade of 10,000 on the track. A New York Tribune correspondent witnessed the event, describing “a procession of friends and mourners as South Carolina and the United States never saw before.”

The procession was led by 3,000 black schoolchildren carrying armloads of roses and singing the Union marching song “John Brown’s Body.” Several hundred black women followed with baskets of flowers, wreaths and crosses. Then came black men marching in cadence, followed by contingents of Union infantrymen. Within the cemetery enclosure a black children’s choir sang “We’ll Rally Around the Flag,” the “Star-Spangled Banner” and spirituals before a series of black ministers read from the Bible.

After the dedication the crowd dispersed into the infield and did what many of us do on Memorial Day: enjoyed picnics, listened to speeches and watched soldiers drill. Among the full brigade of Union infantrymen participating were the famous 54th Massachusetts and the 34th and 104th United States Colored Troops, who performed a special double-columned march around the gravesite.

The war was over, and Memorial Day had been founded by African-Americans in a ritual of remembrance and consecration. The war, they had boldly announced, had been about the triumph of their emancipation over a slaveholders’ republic. They were themselves the true patriots.

The original Memorial Day.

sure do wish this damn zelda amiboo would drop the super shield. Or this gannondorf one would drop a lynel hoof. Those fuckers are hard to kill.

edit:

hey there is a black man in I guess france who believes that racism isn't as big an issue and that we all just need to get together, and minorities need to stop being an obstacle to that by remembering the past I guess??

I mean I'm glad as hell there is pushback in France that has a race problem yet would tell you that they are a) not racist at all, and b) can solve racism for good if you just leave it up to them. Ask any European. Racism is a non issue. And not even is it a non issue in France, any kind of race based grouping for political reasons is anti-social, anti-national, and simply isn't French.

Haven't you heard? Racism isn't a thing in Europe. Black folk over there are all collectively making stuff up.
I live in UK,so many POC are in poor ass areas. You only have to look at London,90% of POC are on the poor outskirts. I am lucky to have a fam that gets decent wages,so don't have to put up with that shit. Hardly any brothers around where I live tho.

economic racism is just as bad if not worse than the in your face harassment, micro-macro aggressions. the one that literally keeps you down. It doesn't exist in Europe or the UK though. Just ask.

Haha, yeah. Kinda like that everywhere. I'm just awaiting the outcome of Swedens "easy jobs" and lower wages initiative for refugees and immigrants. Will be fun as hell in the years to come.

Then again, I mean we only had 60 terrorist attacks, last year, prior to the idiot and his truck that no one cares about.

If you didn't know our cuddly Nazis have been targeting and trying to burn down refugee and immigrant housing. Even those just meant for kids. a fun fact is that, if polls are to be believed, a member of the second largest party published all those addresses to the specific houses and the police keeps on moving people out of the houses as they allow them to protest and march in the vicinity.

I remember being in Germany for a couple weeks and having plenty of people from the smaller towns stare at me like I'm some alien.

You should have been in Poland during the 90s. Dad was joking about how we should take a buck for everyone staring and an extra for every picture they took.

Mainland Europe gets worse as you head towards Russia. In the UK least black people are a everyday thing. Get closer to Russia and that changes.
