In which event you did Just Passing Through ? I fear that one will be a pain the ass to get.

Syncopia set to maximum amount of zones set on elite difficulty. Got it first try.

I never zone boosted. Just absorb whenever you bout to pass through a wall and try not to miss the pads.

I used elite difficulty cuz i figured ai would use more boosts thus leaving more walls. No idea if its true but meh you are not trying to win. The trophy unlocks immediately so elite difficulty is not a problem.

Well, I was 43 before the speed lap and afterwards the needle barely moved after all that xp. Might leave the game on overnight to get it lol

Did you do all A+challenges ? I was on 43 and jumped to 47, I think, when I was done with them. They are hard, but also give plenty of XP the first time you finish them

The Sol trick is useful if you are not playing, however, if you have the patience it's better to use the last 4 boost sequence in Sol and then throw your ship to the right. You will be respawned just before the 4 boost sequence.

I wanted to make a few comparison shots between Wipeout Pulse on PSP, HD/Fury on Vita and HD/Fury on Ps4 Pro.
But I can't find my mini USB cable to get the screenshot from the PSP onto my Laptop -.-

Nope.

Remember you can do it on Skilled. And you get to choose all the easy tracks you want

So if you don't want sebenco or chenghou you don't need to play them.

All I did was put all the tracks as Ubermall for that one.

Feisar Speed is pretty damn good for 2048.

For HD/Fury I like using Assegai and Van Uber, sometimes Harimau or AG Systems. Mirage or Qirex for elimination/races with a lot of barrel rolls.

I was actually thinking about having a PS4 GAF community for this since the servers can be hit or miss, I'd just feel weird if I was the one to make it since this is my first WipeOut and I probably suck compared to some of you guys lol

Go to the options menu, then statistics. It tracks a lot of your play style, including game time.Most of the data is from HD/Fury, so I wonder if they include stats for 2048

Same here. I never got Fury before and, well, I really really don't like it. I guess part of it is that I've always treated Wipeout as a racer with some combat, but this combat focused thing just bores me.

I rushed through most of it today.
The difficulty is off in my opinion.
I don't think I ever needed a second try to get a gold medal on elite AI.
At least for all the racing, time trials, zone and eliminator events.

The detonator and zone battle events however are a pain in the ass. Much harder than the rest. Which is why I completed everything in Fury except for the detonator and zone battle events...

Zone battles were a pain in a few of them. I found Detonator really easy on Elite, apart from one on Syncopia 12 late on.

I regularly hit the point goal (250-350) while the second place was still well below 100 points. No real challenge, just time consuming. Sometimes I just waited in a spot for the pack to come around again...
In 2048 those combat events were much better balanced.

Zone battles were a pain in a few of them. I found Detonator really easy on Elite, apart from one on Syncopia 12 late on.

I will see. I only played one detonator event and two or three zone battles so far. But one of those zone battles I had to restart numerous times.

That mostly applies to 2048. Takes a while to load. Yea it sucks.

For HD/Fury it seems much faster.

I've noticed it a lot with 2048, also. It takes about 4 to 5 seconds after the prompt appears on the screen before the game accepts the input. Maybe the next patch will address it.

I had forgotten that the Fury campaign had so many Zone Battle/ Detonator events, now I'm wishing I hadn't saved it for last. Oh well, been an absolute blast going through the 2048 and HAD campaigns so far.

I did the same thing, working my way through the Fury events now. I don't mind it as much as some others but I do wish I'd decided to do both HD and Fury at the same time rather than one after the other. HD's campaign can get tiring too, running the same eight tracks over and over in different speed classes/event types; mixing the two would've helped both.

An aside: is it just me or do the detonator medals not make any sense? It feels like 99% of the time, if you've lasted long enough to get a bronze, you're going to get the gold a few seconds later. Or maybe that's just the early detonator events, I dunno.

It's better to save up until you get around max boost instead of constantly burning it on extra barriers. Then don't make any mistakes and have good luck.

btw, what the hell happened to the material for the gold medals? on PS3 they looked metallic and shiny, in this they look like plastic. it's like the forgot to use a reflection box with it or something.
