Got put with a 3-stack (the bane of my existence this season), AND they insta-locked my 3 try-hard characters. But they joined team chat in spawn, and seemed like really decent guys, so I went Lucio and just decided to have some (responsible) fun flying from person to person spot-healing. We won pretty handily. Good times.
Had them against me next game. I took my Zen, wrecked them. Even better times.

Nobody seems to know where the point is on this new map. Or how to play healers. Or anyone but Sombra, Hanzo, Widow, Genji, and McCree.

is the length from point a the same length as all the other maps? i swear horizon takes ages to get to point A when youre on defense. i had to switch to lucio just to get back LOL

They really need to come up with a new objective for maps. It has been over a year now and we still the same selection of objectives available. They really need to stop with new maps till they figure something out. If they are really desperate they should solicit the community and see if somebody can come up with something outside of the box.

Solo queued my way back to Diamond again for the fourth straight season. The game made me really work for it this time. Fell 400 after placements and I had to climb back 500 to get it.

Hey, they changed Orisa's damage reduction from 15% to 9%, and for that I am at least grateful that Orisa wasn't nerfed straight into the fucking ground.

Semi-related: holy shit, I expected a ton of Reapers, but my games have been FILLED with McCrees. And not "I'm going to practice" McCrees, but "I was born with a DEagle in my hand" McCrees.

was in a comp game on numbani. guess people didn't realize mccree had his ult buffed LOL. quad kill. while i hid hiding.
I'm on console, so it isn't so bad.
I actually like using his ult since people can actually die to it now
What I'm surprised to see is the number of people picking Hog. Maybe they just want to see how badly they deleted is character

I'm on console too, which is why I can't quite believe what I'm seeing. Maybe mouse and keyboard?
But yeah, his ult has put him in Reaper's league: hide for a sec, drop down behind, kill everything.
And I've had a 'Hog in most of my games today. Not a one made it more than a few minutes before they switched off. People aren't afraid of you anymore, Piggy!
Well, I only did just start playing and got 4 or 5 games in, so maybe my sample size isn't as large as yours. But yeah, McCree is on the rise. I don't think he'll be overpowered though. Tanks still hard counter him and he doesn't have much else going for him beyond the pistol and ult, so we'll see.
Reaper isn't as big a nuisance as I expected him to be with the 20% health regen. He can definitely be annoying, but it's not like he can just drop in without his ult and be like "WHATS UP FUCKERS?!" and not be punished for it. Who knows though, maybe they'll nerf his health to the standard 200 if he gets to be too much.

That's good news on the Reapers not just wading in and unleashing hell. I've only played 6 comp and a handful of QP today, so it's probably an outlier with the McCrees. I fucking hope so.
Still no Horizon map for me, though. I'm eager/terrified to see how that goes.

Do people who ult in the open air part in the map end up completely muted from the rest of the players?

I kind of like him how he is right now. The speed is really comfy to me. In my opinion this change makes him a lot harder and more rewarding to play.

I just noticed you can see all your stats together now, that's nice. I wish they would record stats for Arcade though.
I think McCree is very good now, he's actually very good on this new map, lots of good spots to high noon and the new high noon actually hits just fast enough. You surprise people it does land unless there is a dva,
Horizon feels odd overall. It feels the scale is off. Spawn rooms are needlessly huge, maybe this helps with spawn/walk back time? I don't know. Corridors are very wide, some routes are like there for no good reason? zero g routes seem really bad, why would I ever go there? No one goes there.
I think the map is far more suitable for a arena style 6v6 than for 2cp. It feels like some halo map.

18-14 in Comp so far this season. 3-11 when solo Q'ing with a 3+stack. This isn't right. Solo/Duo Q-only ladder, please, Blizz.

Just checked the new map solo by creating a custom game, seems fine for a 2cp. A bit confusing in the middle part but with time everything will feel natural. The second point has a lot of entrances which is good. Still have no idea what are the best positions to defend, hopefully I'll catch the map in some stream or something.
Hog fire rate is kinda of awesome, can't wait to test him in comp to see how it goes.
More Reapers is fine by me, Pharah/Tracer still shits on him, but it's a good thing if he's more viable now.

It doesn't keep track after the fact. I started keeping track after I lost my first 4 with 3+ stacks. I've always been interested in groupings, on my team and the opponent's.
Unless you mean while you're playing, in which case there's a hyphen-like line connecting them on your team screen.

Finally decided to get back into comp and finish my placements today. So far I'm 17-2 playing mostly Hanzo. I wasn't sure if I would be comfortable playing him in comp but it seems to be going pretty well so far.

On console it has always felt much longer than 4 seconds. 10 maybe? More? That hasn't changed.
Hopefully, like with how Tank Bastion was a (very) brief thing, they will go and revert the changes they made to hog. The one-shot kills were the fucking point of the hero. He is supposed to punish you for poor positioning, but with the damage nerf, this might be the only good strategy while playing him.
How have others handled this dilemma:
I'm around 2750 SR, and when I play alone I get around 27-35 per win and lose 15-20 per loss, suggesting that the system wants to push me higher.
My friends are around 2100 SR, and when I play with them I get maybe 15-20 points per win but lose 25-30 per loss. I'm not sure I wanna be the guy to tell his friends he can't play with them because of their low rank, but I do want to climb. And they're pretty much always online when I am.
What to do?

Yeah on PC. If I played a lot of matches and go to my highlights they would have 1-2 sec the first time I played the clip but after that they would play instantly. Now every time I want to look at a highlight I have to wait 4 secs each and every time I play it. Even if it's the same highlight.
This sounds awful. I wouldn't even bother looking at my highlights if I had to wait this long.
Doesn't seem like anyone else has mention this same problem though. Might just be me.
I figured that would've happened during the PTR.
The Bastion thing changed pretty fast but something being way too strong is going to get noticed faster. This is like a total misfire sabotage of one so it even making it to the live game is already worrying.
I hope they change it back but I was hoping it never even hit this point.

Didn't knew it was that fast on PC. On console you always have to wait, and it's more like 15 seconds (just checked one of mine), awful :\

I have the opposite problem, but it might be what you need. When I try to group up with my Duo Q buddy, I get the "Player already changing groups" error 9 times out of 10, and I can't join his group. Maybe say you're getting that error, sorry, you'll be on tomorrow? I assume you're on PC, but if you're on console, you can just create a sub account.
