What the fuck. This looks amazing. And I'm absolutely not into Ninjago.

And it looks designed after the modulars. Damn...

EDIT: it even has the technic pins and holes to connect it to a modular street. This means I need this.

Oh boy, this going to be crazy expensive isn't it?

$299.99 USD (this is not confirmed yet)

Also, this is the third largest set produced by LEGO, with only the UCS Falcon and Taj Mahal with more pieces.

Just saw this in Instagram. I don't even plan on getting into ninjago unless the kids get into it but damn.... I must have it

You guys think it'll be immune to discounts as a large set?

Sticker sheet's gonna be as big as the instruction book is.

But yeah, want-don't-want this! I wish LEGO would calm down, they must be making so much money right now but Assembly Square, Saturn V, Grand Carousel, now this, and a potential gigantic Falcon... So many sets with 2, 3, 4 and more-thousand pieces is just way too much for most people in such a short space of time.

Certain sets are just gonna have to give and I wonder if this'll be one of them - I think it will for me, as amazing as it looks, unless I can find it at a pretty deep discount. Old Fishing Store's gonna suffer too I reckon with this constant stream of huge sets.

Man, can Lego give me a break? I just started this madness last year, I still have a lot of modulars and expert sets to buy, want the Fishing Shop, still need the carrousel. And now this? How can I eat, Lego, give me a breath to survive.

At least, I am not into Star Wars, so I can skeep the Falcon.

A display with this and some of the LNM sets would be amazing. Just put the green dragon over there.

Lego pieces doesn't break
typically
, So TLG gives you no break. Empty wallet now.

So many cool techniques to see.

Using two of the newer semicircle windows to make an actual circular window on the first floor.

Using the tooth piece for the part of the M in comics. But looks like using printed pieces (Minecraft eyes?) to pull off the I and S in the sign.

All those car door pieces to do the roof.

I recognize half the parts on the main support pillar on the front (the dark grey pointed slope thingie.) but not the other half (the light grey it connects against.)

Love the cherry blossom growing out of a window, and the black and white window frames in offset pattern with trans green outline. There's so much crazy detail. it's such a weird mix of stuff but it all works. I may need it.

Jeez, that's going to be an expensive month for many! I reckon I'll stagger them across a couple of months and hope neither sells out.

I'm probably going for the Fishing Store first, and wait for a double VIP on the City. Both will mean my wife will kill me. It also means I'll be able to save up a bit for the City.

(Oh, and if it wasn't bad enough allready, september also has Force Friday and BB-8 :/)

That sounds like a sensible shout, assuming Europe gets Double VIP too. Thankfully I've never seen Star Wars, so can avoid sinking money into that facet of Lego!

Hnnnnnnnnng. That was the sound of my wallet's final death. Between this and the ship, Ninjago is killing me.

Yeah, also reconsidering the Old Fishing Store now.

On Lego's facebook they said it doesn't have the technic pins to connect it to modulars. I don't see any in the pics. But ya, it would fit next to one and you could add one; would need to be a corner building of course.

I think it demands a Blade Runner/Neotokyo type cityscape MOC though, instead of just placing it next to existing modulars
