It looks "fine", but yeah, when comparing it to DBF... well... it's like comparing your humble Chevy to a freaking Ferrari.
You won't be disappointed. They wrote him out of the Trunks arc but he's basically back as a regular from episode 67 onward. The current arc is doing him great so far.

With Super in Japan having no foreseeable break or time off, the English dub will never be caught up, and there's no way Toonami would be willing to skip those episodes especially when they didn't skip past the movie arcs. Your best bet is to hope once Kai ends they do a double slot of Super until caught up, simply to avoid another One Piece situation.

I think Gohan, Piccolo, Tien, Krillin, Roshi and 18 will all be good team players. Goku and 17 are question marks and Vegeta and Freeza will do their own shit until a team up is absolutely required.

It really doesn't make sense that vegeta doesn't want to join the team. He's always been a team player when the stakes were higher than he thought he could handle. Even when he was evil he was at least smart enough to team up.

It's a tossup i think. Vegeta has also been shown to be a voice of reason throughout super.
Like Going into the ROSAT for the sole purpose of knocking out Goku in the tournament.
