It depends on the type of relationship. I knew guys who were in a "committed" relationship or married that dated their side chicks and went on vacations with them all the time, and it was damn near a full blown relationship. Whereas the relationship could simply be primarily sexual, and there really isn't much talk between the two except hitting each other up when they're available so they can hook up and have sex.
