Honestly, NoA fucking sucks. They have sucked when it comes to LE/CE's for years. Seeing then organization treat its other consumer markets with a better product makes me want to not support NoA's bullshit offerings.

The Steelbook is gorgeous and THE argument in my eyes. As I know Nintendo, it's going to cost more then it's actually worth (considering how cheap most of the stuff is produce) but it's Metroid and the Steelbook damn!

Regarding the regional differences:
It's bullshit. Every country should get the same release and not different offerings, it's insane. But I don't get the "NoA is bad, NoE is so much better!" comments. NoA dlivered the way better Breath of the While Limited Edition just recently.

I would get this in a heartbeat if it was for the switch :/ I really don't want to go back to that clunky uncomfortable thing after the switch :(

Re-purchasing a 3DS for this game. Never thought I would go back to that console but they just had to release another Metroid (not to be confused with an Other Metroid).

Available on amazon.es for less than ten minutes, then it sold out. At least I could grab mine.

Can't even find the listing.

Can you link it?
The product id is shared between every amazon site.
That way it's easier to for everyone else who hasn't got it ordered yet (like me) to get it.

Calm down, guys. They put it up for 90 (!) EUR. You will want to preorder/buy it elsewhere :)

Did you ever stop to consider that people don't appreciate seeing a not-so-stealthy brag post, for an item that many would like to secure for themselves? But hey, let's all remain calm, because Nintendo will surely provide endless stock for everyone who wants this.

There'll be enough stock, when was there ever not for a 3DS LE outside of FE Fates?

It's going to be the same price everywhere else.

Maybe unlike Arturo, someone in the EU can not be an ass and actually let us know when it goes live on .fr, .de, or .it?

Did you ever stop to consider that this might be very useful information for those of us trying to secure a copy? If one listing goes up, the others can't be too far off! I, for one, am glad they posted here to let us know.

It's not going to be 90 EUR. While there aren't RRPs provided by NoE, 90 EUR is not the price that most retailers will charge, at least not in Germany :)

Here's another listing:

Nice of you to tell us before it sold out

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you for telling us.

Thanks man !

WTF? I got mine after 5 failed tries and, as soon as I placed the order I posted this. And I know it was up for about 10 minutes because that's what I read in a Spanish forum right before getting mine... Jeeeeez...

Anyway, the listing URL is below. They use to add them in batches so if you keep refreshing you'll most likely get one. I got my Echoes LE that way.

Can't even find the listing.

Of course, here it is: https://www.amazon.es/dp/B07339W2V7/

Shaking my head so hard right now it's about to roll off my neck.

What 'use' is telling people a listing went up after it has sold out, then proceeding to proudly state that they had enough time to get their order in? As for 'other listings can't be far off', there have been times in the past where months have passed between one Amazon site pre-emptively taking their orders compared to other regions. This information is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

I wish I was as innocent as you

Just follow this thread, I'll make sure that everyone gets a copy :)
Getting a preorder for Nintendo products usually isn't that difficult, it's only after launch that stock is getting low - that's how it was for the NES Mini, the NES Mini controller, some LEs, and Switch.

In general, in Europe it's not that difficult to get a limited edition of a Nintendo game.

Where do you live that you had so much trouble? I mean, the Hyrule Warriors, Bravely Second, FE Echoes, SF Zero LEs are all still available even today - at deep discounts. Most of the other LEs were also still available even at launch. Fire Emblem Fates was pretty much the exception, as even Project Zero 5, Tokyo Mirage Stories and Xenoblade Chronicles X LEs were still available at launch.

Wait, the Limited Edition already has a page on Amazon.de?
For some reason, it doesn't show up when I search for "Metroid Samus Returns" :(
EDIT: Not even when I search for "Metroid Samus Returns Limited Edition".
Something's afoot...

It hasn't been sold yet, but as people worldwide can buy it on there, your chances are better if you buy it from Media Markt/Saturn (who will also get a larger stock allotment).

Echoes DID have a limited restock on Amazon too, So I'm inclined to agree with you. I just hope shipping fees aren't going to suck...

There's barely even months before this game comes out. I reckon there's a fair chance the other listings will go up soon, and I'm glad we at least have something to go on.

do you have a link to the listing on either MM or Saturn?

I'd really like to have several options instead of F5ing amazon all day

If its 90 euros im fucking out.
60 for a 3ds game, thats the max I will pay.

Did the email thingy for amazon spain, lets see if they send the email in time if they restock (and its not 90)

It's a remake of a gameboy game with an absolutely perfect steelbook replica of the original cartridge. In what way is that trash?

I wouldn't say trash but the picture is waaaaaaayyyy too small, out of proportion and ruining the steelbook a bit. Just doesn't look good. The idea is great but that's it.
