Subtle gamer clothes you can wear in public

Really tempted to order one of these, but I'm not a fan of the huge logo on the back. Could be worse, but it would've been nicer as a small detail toward the bottom of a sleeve or if it replaced the Y.H. as a small logo on the upper left chest.

I like this one. I'm with you on the logo on the back though.

So I'm looking to get a few video game / pop culture related shirts.

Which of the many, many t-shirt printing companies are the best quality? There's seriously dozens now.

I've tried googling but the few threads I've managed to find asking similar questions are years old and not particularly helpful.

if they print on american apparel shirts the quality is supposed to be good but i dunno if that's changed in recent years

Probably mentioned:

I've had exactly two people ever recognize this... one at work, one out in the wild. I love it since it draws almost zero attention, the colors are great, and the blend is comfy.

Their delta rune one from Undertale is also very subtle. Nobody's ever recognized it, and I've gotten more questions about what Zelda game it's from than anything.

I can count on one hand the times anyone in public has commented on something I'm wearing in 30+ years. This shirt? Legitimately every time I ever wear it out it has gotten a positive reaction from someone. I don't even like it that much.

A little tongue-in-cheek article. Hoodie is about $60 US and is available to pre-order from Merchoid.

You'll notice on the site that stock is limited, and only a few NES Classic hoodies are left. Their notice is posted with what I assume is zero intended irony, but damn if that isn't too funny.

Make this thread artificially scarce if irrelevant.

I got this shirt from E3 a few years ago, and I rather like it. It's Ellie's shirt from The Last of Us (the shirt color is a little more purple than the image shows).

I remember this thread. Lol at the OP's "subtle" examples.

I grabbed a black t shirt that says "Nintendo 64" on it with the logo on the front. Not subtle but it's simple and found it in the clearance section of Macy's for 10 bucks. There was only one size so I decided to try it on figuring it'll fit weird because, I mean, it's a 10 dollar video game shirt. No bullshit, one of my best fitting t shirts. Neck has the right amount of closeness, sleeves perfectly show off the guns and it's fairly slim fit and just long enough. Feels solid too. Honestly amazed. I have Polo t shirts that wish they were made that well.

I live in a town where the median age is 33 so it gets a lot of compliments at the bars.

This is my favourite geek T-shirt that I own right now. The pattern is just subtle enough that you'd need to know at least a little bit about Pokémon to understand where it's from. aka I wear it to work and nobody can tell a thing.
