He doesn't have to do this. Why is he doing this? I cannot comprehend the psychology.

Edit: Who has ever referred to something as a "defective football?"

Republicans are reaping what they sowed.

And we all dine on the fetid produce.

Pro piece of shit Mike Cernovich may be in trouble. I love it.

Sessions got us into independent counsel mess. Personal friends of mine being subpoenaed. Word is I'm gonna get one. Major screw up.

If Trump really truly does go independent policy wise. He'll need to court Democrats, that's going to be interesting. But it will cost him the Freedom Caucus for sure, those guys are ideologically rabid.

Also say what you want about the WH, but John Kelly has been good at distilling the crazy policies from the WH into workable action. Look at the Muslim ban for example, Miller and co crafted crazy EO policy and then Kelly still managed to blunt by pushing for Green Card holders to be exempt etc.

He's in charge of one of the most important Secretary positions and managed to remain relatively unscathed. (Trump Admin Standards)

Basically I'm not writing this off and expect a complete clusterfuck. Russia investigation will be the real wild card.
That is what will make Trump truly unhinged. If it escalates, alienated GOP might push for impeachment.

When news gets out to media about just WHAT he has in his financial history he will go ballistic; especially if it's shown he's mortgaged to hell and back, owes DeutscheBank, is basically Putin's serf, and is in the red.

lol

This Priebus interview is pathetic.

He's radioactive and knows it. He won't squeal for real unless Mueller or congress comes a knockin'.

He's praising Steve Bannon now, too. And he can't stop saying he's still on Team Trump and believes in the Trump agenda. Such a sad man.

Dude knows stuff. Might be trying desperately to avoid a kompart drop on him or the GOP. Better avoid buildings and get a taste tester.

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
"We talk all the time about this subject."

"This subject" = the continued presence of Priebus

Even Wolf is like, wait, what did you just say?

He genuinely laughed and scoffed at the idea of him becoming Ambassador to Greece. "That's not going to happen." Probably the only honest part of this interview, where he basically admits he won't be anywhere near this administration again.

I'm going to start using "defective football" randomly in conversations.

I mean can a football be "defective?" I mean it can be deflated, or have a hole in it, that's kind of the only two options with footballs.

I guess maybe one could come out of the factory as a soccer ball, somehow. I guess that would be a defective football.

They were trying to grab your prize. They work for the mercenary. The masked man.
He's doing this to make future employers view him as a loyal soldier and someone who won't badmouth people.

Do we have any bearing on John Kelly's politics? Is there any precedent for a career military professional going straight into a purely political role?

Do we have any bearing on John Kelly's politics? Is there any precedent for a career military professional being thrust directly into a purely political role?

Nixon appointed a general his Chief of Staff during Watergate.

Can't make it up.

Edit: Also he's like a xenophobic but pragmatic military type AFAIK.

I whinny my fervor lowly, for his length is not as great as those of the Hylian war stallions

Nixon appointed a general to the same position.

Oh man the GOP agenda is now at a total halt, Kelly doesn't have the connections at Capitol Hill

He and McCain are buds, he may not know that many House delegates or have interpersonal connections, but he's well respected.

I don't think that played into Trump's reasoning at all, though.

Look at the body language on these middle schoolers

You were right about the middle schooler part:

Here’s The Real Reason Anthony Scaramucci Hates Reince Priebus

In the public feud between Anthony Scaramucci and Reince Priebus, what hasn’t been fully explained is why Scaramucci so dislikes the president’s now-former chief of staff — a man he alternates between calling “Reince Penis” and “Rancid Penis,” according to an adviser to the White House.

The Sessions -> Homeland Security thing seems like a strange idea since wouldn't he clearly view that as a demotion?

I don't think Kelly would've been a better asset connecting with Congress in the healthcare debacle than Reince.

I still can't believe Kelly would want to tarnish an entire career for Small Hands, he'll won't last 6 months

I can't believe this because the article implies that this administration cares about looking like its violating ethics standards or worried about appearing to be influenced by foreign governments.

I agree, I just don't think he'll be the duddest dud in that department.

McCain's not going to be in the senate very much longer, so that connection's kind of pointless

Nixon appointed a general to the same position.

So the speed run seems to be making good time

The MS-13 focus is so weird.

Made even weirder by Trump doing something that he knows will immediately scuttle his message on MS-13.

What a mess of an administration.

But under Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution, it is the Congress that has the power to “raise and support Armies.” Therefore only Congress can decide who is eligible or ineligible for military service.
Well that's pretty straight forward

And there's a precedent
The basic chain of cases here starts with Rostker v. Goldberg, 453 U.S. 57 (1981), which was on the issue of whether it was constitutional to exclude women from the draft.

lol Trump
