Unless you're a Gohan fan.
They'll be getting the same fucking Tien got in episode 90.
If the Dub nails it, they might be able to salvage the Frost cop out. The Vegeta and Cabba stuff should be gold, but that really depends on Cabba's VA, Sabat should nail it.

I love the U6 tourney. Vegeta mercing everyone. Hit vs Goku was also surprisingly good. Champa bringing the laughs.

I believe it's the same person who voiced him in Xenoverse 2. Only it'll be better. Though I didn't think he was that bad in the DLC.

The U6 tournament was safe and fun (Kaio-ken returning was dope) but like I've said before I don't care about Goku and Vegeta that much so I'm not that into it. Sucks that Piccolo only had 1 match and that Buu didn't participate at all.

Yep, we'll finish the RoF arc in a month and reach the Trunks' arc in a couple of months. We'll probably have about 6 months of new content till they need to rerun the whole thing and I'm totally fine with that.
I hope they nail the Vegeta and Cabba episode, I enjoyed it a lot (lol avatar quote) and it was nice to see Vegeta be a hardass teacher for once.

Started this on VRV today. First 5-6 episodes are awful. Terrible animation and it's mostly filler. Does this show get any better?
Yes, after the Golden Frieza arc, when the Universe 6 and 7 tournament starts, and then during the Goku Black/Future Trunks arc.

I was hoping someone would respond to this before I had to... "the fuck?" Is my reaction to this comment.
It'd help a lot if the had kept his RoF hair and done the Ultimate hair when he changes form. It'd make all his transformations this arc, and in general, pop a lot more.
Yeah, looking at Buu saga Mystic Gohan and comparing him to his Super counterpart is just... there's something missing, he used to look imposing and like a badass, in Super they have yet to nail that posture and style.

Ah yeah, episode 90, I'll give you that since it was a great episode and there were some really nice shots of Gohan in there, but you can't deny they have yet to reach an acceptable level of consistence when it comes to him, he tends to look off in several instances.
Had no idea about the Mystic/Ultimate stuff, I thought Mystic was the official name (not sure if we have one in Spanish for that form tbh). Where does the name come from?

What's the deal with Goku Black, his base form was almost equivalent to our Goku's SSJ3. Dem Time Chamber gains. The Zamasu who uses Goku's body is from a timeline similar to the present, but one where he was not destroyed by Beerus from what I recall.

Cartoon Network picked up the series and is going to fully support the LA release! The plan is to have a new episode per day from Monday to Friday at 11:00 pm (great timing!) while repeating the episode at 5:00 pm the next day. Then the Saturdays we have a marathon of the 5 episodes of the week from 10:00 to 12:00!

They can run 5 episodes in 2 hours no problem. I remember them doing the same thing for Rurouni Kenshin back in the day.
True and I think a lot of that comes down to the current character proportions. They were a lot nicer back in the 90s.
As for the Ultimate/Mystic stuff, Ultimate is the official name used in merchandise and video games since forever. In Super Gohan's called it "an ultimate form" if we're looking at dialogue specifically. Mystic was a fan term appropriated by a couple of Funimation merchandise things back in the day IIRC but that's about it. It's not the name people should be using as the show itself uses 究極 (Ultimate) on several occasions.
That Gohan gif you posted kind of looks like Shimanuki's work? Arched might know for sure but if so then he was the supervisor on episode 90, hence the similar style.

Wait, like... New? I don't know how voice work stuff usually goes but just of like last week or so they haven't even recorded the Goku Black arc.
If they catch up to the Japanese version, I guess that means no more seeing the blu ray corrections in the dub.

That's some nice piece of trivia, love learning more about the behind the scenes stuff (animators for example) from the show. Ultimate Gohan it is then.
They started recording the Goku Black stuff several weeks (months?) ago (Castañeda tweeted about it), so they are probably done by now and I wouldn't be surprised if they had already started working on the in between episodes before the recruitment arc.

I mean new in terms to the Latin American release haha. Like, Monday you get episode 1, Tuesday 2, and so on, instead of waiting a week for the next episode like Japan and USA. At least in LA, they've already reached the Goku Black arc in dubbing since they have tweeted about Future Trunks', Goku Black's and Dabura's voices. edit: oh you thought I was talking about Los Angeles oops sorry about that
I feel like I switch between Ultimate and Mystic by mistake some times, but Mystic Gohan has always been a weird thing to call him, and it feels like a fan term people desperately used to justify Gohan having God ki or something else magical about his form.
I always thought it would have been neat if he had the power of a healer, or maybe being able to transfer his power for a brief time to someone else, but after the Future Trunks manga arc, eh.
