Ah, goddamnit. Can't believe the show runners went with the "Rhaegar and Lyanna were actually married and Gilly found it in the records of the Maester who records everything."

it's allright you can treat the show as an alternate ending. Maybe one day when the two books are done you can get the true ending.

That was really lame. It felt unearned, like the writers had to get it out there but couldn't think of a clever way to do it that fit with the story.

That Jon and Gendry scene though:

Do you watch this show and skip the dialogue here and there? First episode Jon point blank states that Lord Karstark and Umber would have been executed had they been alive. He tells Theon the only reason he's not dead is because of what he did for Sansa. Tarlys would have been executed, and I doubt Jon would have given them a way out. Had the Tarlys betrayed a House loyal to the Starks or the Starks themselves, they would have died. It's no different than the Karstarks and Umber.

So is your problem the method of execution? Because if it is, Drogon killed them in seconds flat. Hanging would have taken longer, and only beheading would have been quicker. Sure as shit beats eaten alive by dogs though right? Or do you think Jon left Ramsay for Sansa to have a chat with and didn't know she was going to kill him?

Here's my pont: Dany's been saying she's better for the past few seasons. Instead, according to you, she did what any lord in the Seven Kingdoms would've done. Killed traitors. Even though her hand said to take them captive. And yes, I have a problem with her burning her enemies alive when she's already won the battle and has them. I think it's fucking crazy. It makes me think she's gonna turn out more like her Dad. Even Tyrion and Vary's were worried.

So since Sam left the citadel he never found out that his father and brother were killed in battle.

And is Bronn in deep shit now for that special meeting? If he gets killed by Cersei after surviving all the shit he's been though I'm going to be mad. lol

Disagree. Bringing him back is going to have some significance.

1.) he's a master weapon maker
2.) he still technically has a legit claim to the kingdom.
3.) He will forfeit his claim and will side with John. Uniting the kingdoms.

These are all good points. Maybe Gendry will live. I hope so it was cool seeing him back

Not according to Ser Davos.

Oh no doubt Jon has a bit of a thing going for her, I'm just saying Danys seems really obvious / out there at this point while Jon seems a bit more reserved with it

this would only be if Jon was there but otherwise yeah she's nobody to her. She just made an example of them. But to the bolded, since I'm the one misunderstanding perhaps you can explain further?
I don't think Sam despises his dad enough to want to see him dead.
I actually think he wouldn't care. Dude threatened to kill him, and then freaked out about Gilly, calling her a thing, and stating that Sam brought dishonour to the family by bringing her there. Fuck Randall Tarly.

Ok. Can I just say. That was awesome. I could not be MORE excited for next weeks episode. It's like the oppposite of Lindelof. Every goddam thing is going to pay off in some way. And their attempt to catch a white walker? A lot of fools are going to die. But it's going to be fucking epic.

It depresses me that Jon and Dany will probably never rule as king and queen of Westeros.

This is the point where I turn off Skyrim and delete all of those mods.

We are 100% sure she is having a baby, as Qyburn asks he Cersei wants him to take care of it for her.

What? In a million different ways you could take what she told him, that would be pretty far down the list for me.

Arya putting all those points into Lockpicking.

I don't think there's any way Cersei dies this season now. Just not enough time IMO to develop it into the plot adequately with 2 episodes to go.

I think this will drag into season 8.

I'm guessing the baby is Euron's and it is what causes a split between Jamie and Cersei.

Getting Cersei pregnant all the way from Casterly Rock would be in line with his currently known power levels.

Yeah, I was sure she was dead this season but this episode makes it seem like she will have a big part to play in season 8.

Cersei is going to do something stupid at the meeting to get herself killed. Like she'll walk close to the wight and get her neck bit. Or she'll strike out against Dany and start a war.

This doesn't explain anything.

They can't kill a wight, they have to kill a human and bring a human over before it turns.

They can destroy a wight, but it will only reanimate upon the command of the NK.

They can't use Valyrian sword on it, or it will shatter, they can't use a flaming sword of it will perm kill it.

So how exactly are they bringing on over for proof? Unless they catch a living wight, chain it up then how else will they do it? That's even if the Magical barrier doesn't stop it from crossing over.

You said what would Jon do, would he kill them knowing it was Sam's father and I said no, he would ask Sam, who would make them take the black.

But, had Jon not known them, or Sam. He would have killed them for treason just the same as Dany did.

I'm confused now too, lol.

It's funny that Gendry talked that his father fought together with Jon's father when the truth is that his father killed Jon's father.

I wonder if that means that Jon's parentage won't actually mean anything in the end.
