My gripe with UC4 was too much climbing and the addition of Sam to the story. Chloe is my favorite UC character and since she was absent from UC4 all over this one.

I'm a huge Uncharted fan for many reasons, and Uncharted 4 is probably my favorite in the series. Uncharted 2 creeps in from time to time, but UC4 just hit me in a way 2 couldn't.

I love the series for many aspects, including the combat, but that doesn't mean I need a combat heavy game to keep enjoying the games. The series evolved a bit, for better or worse, and I easily adapted. I enjoyed the slower ride this time around, just like I did the more explosive ones in the past.

Classifying Uncharted fans because of that seems kinda ridiculous.

I knew the game being similar in a lot of ways to uncharted 4 would hurt the score a bit from some reviewers but I just wanted more uncharted so I am excited for next week!!!

Don't want to spoil myself but I was wondering if any of the reviews covered these topics

- is the pacing more even than Uncharted 4 with a healthy balance of combat, climbing, puzzles etc.?

- Is the story interesting?

- is it the same combat from uncharted 4 cause that shit was awesome!?

Saw 9 page Naughty Dog thread, expected worse reviews. 85 meta for a $40 Uncharted game seems like a good deal for me. I'll keep my preorder.

Good reviews. The text for many of them mentions that the experience won't have a lot of new moments for Uncharted vets, so I might wait to play it until I really want a new Uncharted game. But even the lower scored reviews made the game sound solid and fun.

Controversy, insults, salty tears, this is indeed an uncharted review thread through and through. I for one dont really care for this series much anymore, its completley subjective and im sure that by all accounts lost legacy is a good to great game, but i think after four im way burnt out on these games.

Sounds good enough for me! I got the Digital Deluxe for 60 bucks at launch, so the DLC is just gravy to me. Can't wait to play.

has there been another studio in recent years that has produced something of this magnitude in just one year? even if this does have more of the same regarding uncharted game play to pull this off in one year seems incredible to me, I can't wait to play this next Tuesday!

They had only 1 year to come up with it. A lot of reviews are impressed with how quick ND was able to asaemble this together for a retail release.

The Last Of Us 2 will be Naughty Dog at their 100%.

I'm not saying it's bad or terrible or whatever, I'm just saying people ( including me ) have higher expectation for Naughty Dog than any other studio.

Time to dust off my PS4. I feel like I paid for this 10 years ago....I think I paid like $15 for it?

After seeing Kinda Funny's reaction I think I might wait on this. I still have some other August games I haven't finished. It just sounds liked more UC4. I was hoping for different gameplay with the ND engine/performances.

Yes! I wasn't expecting reviews so early but this is awesome news. Can't wait to play it in a couple of weeks when I get back in town.

On 2nd thoughts, maybe not.



I'd rather they innovated with better ai and gameplay ideas, well at least the ai.

edit: Is supersampling in for us 1080p paupers?
