I've actually thought about the possibility of that being the whole twist of the arc and how Champa (or, you know, whoever gets the wish) will finally get to pay U7 back. I'd love for that to be the case.

Tbh until this episode Champa's been as annoying in this arc as the rat GoD on wanting to eliminate Beerus and U7. At least to me anyways

There wasn't nearly as big a need for him to save any stamina in either of those cases. He had more than enough power in other forms to deal with his opponents, and in other cases, there was no downside to going straight to Blue. It wasn't a marathon, but a sprint in most cases so he went straight to his full power.
There was no need to conserve any stamina against Zamasu or Black. It was either defeat them now, or you don't. What's the point in dragging it out? Against Hit in the universe 6 vs 7 tournament, Goku had already clearly seen what Hit was capable of against a Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. So once Goku had accustomed himself to Hit's style, he just went straight to what was at the time his full power. This is all pretty straightforward stuff. This has been the best opportunity for Goku to bring back this form.

Jiren's fighting style is waiting for others to attack him, he will fight when they come for him. It was established in the first episode of the tournament.

The higlight of that episode was easily Champa, if U6 gets erased tears will be shed. Also, I'm not a fan of them adopting the whole quickly going in and out of SSG to SSGSS thing like the manga did. You would think there would be repercussions to your stamina/Ki from transforming like that, but apparently there isn't... Which begs the question, why wouldn't Goku and Vegeta just always do that from now on, and why haven't they before? I also think it's quite dumb how it seems that Hit just gets stronger on the fly, he did it against Goku and now against Dyspo.
I did find it funny how Champa referenced Dyspo's appearance, though (thankfully they didn't just pretend that these characters don't look similar).

So was SSG just kind of there, to let him keep his speed. In the manga, Goku uses it a lot but here, it just kind of happens with no build up or even an explanation how he can use it. This episode was cool but I can't help feel like SSG was brought in just to get around the energy drain of Blue, which I never really thought Goku had until they told us during the tournament. Hit is and will always be awesome, this episode proves it.
I thought it made no sense there, and that's still the case.
So he's the best at jobbing.

I'd be surprised if anyone care about any other universe besides 6/7 and the yellow kai. It's not like the rest were developed,

I'm surprised to see people go so far as to call it that, as well. The episode had a lot of flaws, but it wasn't boring and it certainly was not the worst one yet. Aside from the annoyances I've already posted, I found it enjoyable enough. *shrugs*
