Regular Zamasu then.
M. Zamasu is better than regular Zamasu, who doesn't really have that much going for him outside of the immortality, which should technically be cheating to put him in a game lol
Black > M. Zamasu > Zamasu imo in terms of priority
Awww, I like Super 17 a lot as a villain, arc goes from 0-100-0 and then the shadow dragons show up and I think his design is neat
I haven't got to 17 in super though, base 17 is an objectively better choice
I'll take Haze Shenron instead tho

I know people prefer Black over Zamasu, but I think Zamasu would be better since he's more visually unique. Just include Black in some of his supers.
But the way regular Zamasu and Black fight are similar, don't bring up the Scythe that was used for 10 seconds lol. Zamasu also doesn't look like a clone.

I would take both, Goku Black and Zamasu (Merged, maybe), but never Zamasu over Goku Black :/ To be honest the arc was a lot more interesting
when Black was still around.

I dunno, I prefer the idea of an evil Kai over an evil Goku. But yeah both would be cool.
They have stage damage already in this. Wouldn't surprise me if battle damage isn't implemented yet or if it's a stylistic choice to not do so.
Why would I not bring up the scythe, or the other energy blade moves he used? In general, he had a stronger focus on that kind of stuff as opposed to M. Zamasu, who had various new attacks.
The only people that care that he looks like a clone are those that have yet to actually seen him in action.
Pretty sure Zamasu was also using the energy swords. And the scythe was used for 10 seconds and then was thrown away.
I didn't say Zamasu never used the energy swords, I said there were certain moves Black used that Zamasu didn't:
As for the scythe, they can either simply let him use it, or just find a way to utilize that cloning ability he possesses as a super or something. Either works.
That said, I was comparing Black to M. Zamasu in the first place. Regular Zamasu would be the worst option of the 3 to put in the roster, because if people really want Zamasu for his looks (As in, a character that doesn't look like Goku), then you may as well just use that instead.
The popular option is Goku Black, while the strongest and final villain is M. Zamasu. Zamasu on the other hand, I don't see why they should bother since they're working with a limited roster, as he's the weakest and basically has watered down versions of Black's attacks, as well as lacking all the other neat stuff Black has access to.
Hell, maybe they could even use Zamasu in the same way they used 17, where Black stabs through him in order to stab the opponent.

Any newer gameplay videos or is everything we have still from evo?
Outside of that combo video that was done, we probably won't see much for DBFZ until sometime next week during gamescom.

Since he's a fusion of course he'd be able to use all of Black's moves. Including the edgelord scyth everyone is in love with.
Plus when he has his halo he's the most ASW looking character DBZ has ever had
I know he would have all of Black's moves, but what I said is that they don't really fight the same, namely to M. Zamasu having a bunch of new attacks that are far more destructive. Also since they seemingly care a lot about accuracy, I don't see them merely giving Black's attacks to him anyhow.
Not to undersell Zamasu here, but wasn't the big threat from him because he got immortality? I can at least say that I get why Goku Black would be a threat, but for Zamasu, he would have been killed off a hundred times over had he not got himself the wish earlier.
If they do add him to the roster, I'm not going to take offense to that, but part of me feels like Goku Black and perhaps even "Merged Zamasu" would get in before he would for the variety of moves they have in comparison to him (And just going off the F. Trunks arc).
The only other thing I'm trying to figure out is just how far are we going to go into Super for DBFZ? It does seem painfully obvious at this point that we will probably see Beerus and Hit get in (especially if we had SSB Goku with his 10X Kaioken), but will they also dive in a bit into the F. Trunks arc? or would they cut it at the U6 vs U7 arc and add in later on as possible DLC? The speculation game never ends, but I doubt we'll get answers this week at Gamescom (although it would be a nice surprise to see even more characters announced besides what has just confirmed).

A little late to the party, but as a member of the press, I can 100% confirm that rumor is fake.
I highly doubt there was a press event for the Androids reveal. Bandai Namco didn't even send out a press release, so it's unlikely there was a full event. However, even if there was an event, I have almost never seen that kind of information revealed at a press event. At best you might be given embargoed info that was coming out at Gamescom (a week later), but nothing as intricate as what was in that leak.

I'm pretty sure he was in all the Tenkaiichi games. Couldn't say the movelist though.

I mean, that is about as diverse an arrangement of the Androids as you can get.
As much as Android 17 is cool, eye lasers and energy absorptions is cool too, especially in the context of a video game. And it's different to what other characters can offer.
I'd like to see Dr. Gero, for instance. There's a lot that's unique about him as a character within Dragon Ball.

I expect that they will make characters like 17 DLC, but there is also the chance they just don't include characters post-ROF. In that case I could see them not having 17 in the game.
I'm pretty excited for this game, looks amazing and it's been a while since I played a fighting game so this should be fun.

We already have post RoF characters in the game. Classic outfits SSB Goku and Vegeta are from the Future Trunks arc.
