18's support is 17's barrier I read somewhere. (either that or they gave her a barrier too)

So if you play ToP 17 with 18, and you call her, you'd get another 17 ? That's a disaster they won't even dare to fix so we're stuck with this garbage.

They'll give us a DLC costume and call it a day.

Since the character is forever unsalvageable, I wonder if they'd maybe consider swapping 17 and 18 with the ToP costumes of both.

Like Z version 18 is leader, Super version, 17 is leader. Would still require some work obviously but heh.

You will be able to have Gohan summon Gohan, and have multiple Vegetas and Gokus on one team. 17 would be just fine as an individual character.

I'm not sure if you can take two Gokus on the same team actually. Like Blue and SSJ.

Anyway, 17 in Super is the same character as Z 17. So I don't see them ever caring for him now that he is an integral part of 18's moveset.

Why would they stop you from picking Blue Goku and SSJ Goku at the same time? They didn't in Extreme Butoden.
Goku and Vegeta are the same characters in Super as in Z.

You're literally jumping through hoops to be mad at this, nothing has changed since yesterday, DBS 17 can still be DLC.

I hope he starts pleading with Toppo not to abandon justice. Jiren is crying on the inside, not knowing what to do.

@Slaythe: you have my support in this one, Android 17 would have been amazing with his attitude+barrier-based gameplay, he could have been a dormammu-like for all we know. Maybe he will be.

Still, gonna main A18 anyway, at least.

Yeah episode 80 was decent showed off his intellect but he wasn't at full power. Episode 90 gave me hope again so my expections have shot up for him because he's stronger than ever now I can realistically expect him to do something cool and maybe I don't know be in the spotlight again🙏

Look at him in that fancy suit with his fake justice. How did they even afford going to such a fancy restaurant, not donating everything to save people, let alone being a hero paying that well. I don't trust the PT anymore.

Just watched the latest episode. I enjoyed it but damn... this tournament is dragging waaay too much it's not exciting anymore. I'm starting to think of simply stop watching it until the truly exciting stuff begins or when Goku fights against Jiren
with his new transformation
because so far, the tournament hasn't delivered considering how many episodes it took to get it started with all the backstory on characters and stuff. Toriyama pls :(

The problem with Kale is they'd probably do her Berserk form instead of her controlled LSSJ form. I'd rather her Berserk than Broly's, but if Brolys in, she's kind of redundant until she uses moves not in Broly's wheelhouse.

They're never gonna bother making 17 stand alone because "18" isn't in the game.

This is 18/17, if they add 17 it makes her look terrible.

At absolute best, a gimped version of ToP 17 could make it as a costume for 18/17 that would make it 17/18, but he would still have to rely on the puppet mechanic even though he never fights with his sister.

I know some of you guys feel like a stand alone 17 is possible, but I don't. And for the record, not a single one of my certitude regarding the game has been wrong so far. (Keep in mind my wishes are not my certitudes :p )
