You can say that exact line in regards to like 90% of anime out there.
I'm glad they show her height and 3 sizes at the end so that we know that she shrinks into a small battleship, rather than already being a tiny person. Very important.

I would imagine that Amirox would find whatever this is to be worse than moe as well.
It's just my feeling that military fetishism intentionally avoids the uncomfortable discussion of the human tragedy that they play and have played in history, in order to be able to appreciate those things. As of late, it just keeps turning out weirder and weirder things, like shipgirls and swordboys among a whole bunch of other stuff that no one really ever asked for.
