Twice. Our school didn't have a junior prom so it was only for seniors and their guests. My girlfriend at the time was a senior while I was a junior so she took me to her prom and then came back to mine the next year. It was awesome, definitely glad I went.

My Year 11 prom was a bit dead.

My Six Form prom ( the prom you have when your 18) was at this beautiful hotel that had a horse race track behind it and there was a bar. And since our sixth form was small and had like 80 people there, everyone knew each other and was friends.

Everyone just getting smashed, taking photos, dancing, and then an after party afterward.

Amazing way to end my time before university.

Exactly, you won't see your friends as often anymore so why not take the chance to have a great time with them? I could understand some extreme cases, but man I wish I could go to prom again while keeping my current memories of everything I've been through so far.

Yep. Got a pink pinstriped suit and felt like I would have a good time. But when you are nervous, shy antisocial individual like me who feels like he has two left feet when he dances with a crowd, your good times can fade just as quick as they arrived. I found myself on the second floor of the place where the prom was at, all by myself just sitting down and laying my head on the countertop waiting for the night to end so I could forget about it.

Most miserable day of my highschool years. Fuck prom.

No I wasn't particularly attached to my high school or too many people in it. Had friends but knew I was gonna barely keep in touch with them as soon as it ended. But also I was extremely ill at the time and wasn't particularly happy in life about it.

I went with a group of my friends, but I had broken up with my girlfriend of two years only a few weeks prior, so it felt weird being there alone. Oh, and "Gangnam Style" was popular at the time, so the DJ played it and a bunch of people in my class started doing the dance, lmao.

EDIT: I also ended up going to senior prom as a sophomore. It was held in the Space Needle and it was a lot of fun. Honestly, for as much shit as people like to give them, I always thought school dances were pretty fun.

Sports, video games, camping then girls in that order.
Probably why my group of five is still so close 30 years later.
