Do y’all think 270 is too low to try the raid?

Trying to figure out what I want to do tonight, I guess I could run the Nightfall a couple of more times for gear. Already beat it once this week.

Can someone explain to my why there's a
Cabal projection when you go to reclaim a subclass. You get two with your faction leader and then one with a Cabal dude with mech wings
Anyone know why?

So what do people think Hunters have going for them in PvP? It seems crazy that Warlocks kept blink and hunters had it taken away along with universal invis.

Play the story until you hit the level requirements. Use public events to hit the level requirements and go back to story. Once you hit 15, beat the story and
when you talk to Zavala in the tower the game boosts you to level 20.

Maybe I'm just bad, but the way a Warlock's blink works isn't great. The vertical movement on it makes it hard to use it as a positioning tool.

A company being excited for their new game is a huge slap in the face to all the fans that liked their old games.
So I got pretty screwed with the RNG on leviathan.

I got a total of 3 keys, 30 tokens, the Titan Mark and Leg armor.

Does raid gear drop every time you open a chest? Say, after the Castellum, Gardens, etc?

Or is it only at the very end?

I've run the raid fresh 3 times this week and got nothing.

Golden Gun is the most versatile super in the game. The dodge has saved my ass more times than I can count, and I find myself constantly tapping O when playing the other two classes in pvp, lol.

Stuck at 271 and can't seem to get past it - after a few drops over 270, now, everything drops and/or opens at 265... will I fare better after Tuesday's update?

Just got out of a group that got up to Calus. I haven't done the fight but know the basics.

Edit: Will try to get into this other raid.

That’s how it works at upper levels, 265 is a soft cap. You’ll be relying on exotics and milestones that reward powerful gear to advance your power level, and as your overall level increases the drops will increase level too. I’m at 283 and my normal legendaries drop at 273 right now.

I believe that gear can drop from
all four 'main encounter' chests (Baths/Gardens/Gauntlet/Calus) but it's very rare - in two runs, I've only seen a handful of armour pieces and a couple of weapons across the whole group. First lobby area clear each week guarantees a Powerful engram and shaders, too. RNGsus hates me too - between loot, tokens and clan rewards, I've had the gloves once, the body twice and the class item four times. At least I got the rocket this week! That thing is a Win Button on Calus.

Spent a lot of time on the raid this weekend but just couldn't beat the boss, which is too bad because it's a fairly straightforward encounter once everybody knows what to do.

Probably a mark that my time of intensely playing this game is coming to an end. I'll still hop on for weeklies for a while but I'm sure once the busy season rolls around I'll be on other things. Still, been a hell of a lot of fun and I've enjoyed the leveling/end-game much more than the first. Running Trials was a lot of fun as well.

Yea man, don't sweat it. Just wait for milestones for easy level ups.

Man they have to come up with a playlist for random teams. If you are not in a coordinared fireteam you just get fucking ANNIHILATED in this game

Same here man. It sucks. Haven’t been able to complete a raid or Nightfall strike either. Feels bad seeing all those folks with 290 to over 300 power level. I’m like how did they do it?!
