Now if they left the tournament for one episode to show the other "deleted" characters in the promised LAND -

That was a precedent setting moment for me. I felt like they could have not made Frost stupid there and it would have been fine for his character up to that point. I do feel like they wanked Frieza at the expense of Frost here when Frost could have been portrayed as a bit more competent.

I guess they could have, but making stupid mistakes is pretty much Freeza and Frost modus operandi for anything that doesn't go their way.

Anytime their ego is involved is when they mess up.

Amen. I don't get it

Im still shocked the first ones out were the most predictable ones I thought for sure they'd mess with ppl

I don't either. They're marketing the show toward kids and Trunks and Goten are featured heavily in things kids can buy but... well, you know.

And yeah, I'm actually disappointed the three weakest people were out first. Again, playing it safe.

They've been playing it fairly safe so you're probably right.

What's shocking for me is that, despite U7 being painted as the completely evil guys and being responsible for the current state of affairs, they have the highest body count in the ToP so far lol, but maybe that's exactly the reason, people got so worked up over knocking them out that they kept getting caught off-guard
just like Goku all the time

I love this song

I bet Vegeta goes before Freeza and 17, but after Piccolo and 18.
Yeah, now that you mention it and considering the latest pieces of merchandising, this is also a very likely scenario.

Zeno was so badass this episode. Absolute power. You fuck around, you die. And if it happens again, all of universe 6 pays the price.

Right? I was like holy shit when that happened, so even if U6 survives this tournament somehow, frost as a character is done.

Figuring out Freeza's plan straight away and playing along doesn't make him useless.

Sure, why not.

True, but him getting his butt beat by an IT user when his father has the exact same technique and has been using it for years is kind of bad. Bonus points that Goku used it against Gohan twice in Episode 90 and he still has no counter for it.

If the Yardrat guy survives all this he should seek him out and learn that shit for himself.

After what U7 did to him, I doubt it. Yes, Frieza isn't Gohan, but the fact that U7 allowed such a scumbag to fight in the tournament won't sit well with the other universes.

I definitely want to see Gohan reunited/training with Obuni and Jimeze after the ToP.
Goku and Gohan will be the last ones, Vegeta will be the last to go before them, I am a 100% sure of that now.
Eh, the 3 Saiyans being the last three? I hope not. It already sucks the first three out were the humans...

So ive been playing xenoverse 2 for the switch and ive made it to the android arc, and its become apparent that they really need to start aging trunks and goten, especially when the "780" flashes on screen and they did a full CGI reanimation of the scene of teenage trunks crying over future gohan.

It also made it surreal that this is the year that we're in now in super that gohan bites the bullet, yet it couldnt be a better time for gohan and trunks right now, besides the whole universal erasure thing.

Jimeze did fine. Saved the U2 main combatants, is one of the few non-U6/U7 to knock someone out and gave Gohan some trouble.

Only BS thing was Caulifla hitting him. Ugh.

yea he did fine, he isnt the main antagonist but he atleast had screen time and lines and had one of the strongest U7 fighters up against the wall before he got eliminated, he didnt even get eliminated in a dumb way or anything

Does the ultimate form take energy to use?

Seem to imply Gohan had trouble because he hesitate to go all out

Well that and not countering something which took Frieza five seconds too

The instant transmission shouldnt have been countered so easily, its literally instant, and thats why I thought it was giving gohan trouble, freiza acted like he could see it no problem.

This whole thing is DC levels of no way like how the flash could beat someone teleporting because he was so goddamn fast.

Getting smashed by a dude that Frieza crushes in base form does.

Like Freeza said, he should have gone all out but didn't for whatever reason (read: the writers needed some false tension...). It's dumb but the second part of the episode made up for it.

If i remember at least the flash thing was a race so he knew where to go

Freeze just Shonen teleport behind him which I guess make sense with their speeds but yeah

The fact that Gohan needed to go Ultimate to defeat Jimeze speaks good of him

And I mean, Freezer could take out almost every contestant that fast if he wanted to. Frost got lucky he got the long treatment :p

Going all out wasn't the problem. The problem was that Gohan can't counter the IT, despite his own father having it for years and getting the business end of it just a few hours ago.

It wasn't just speed since Goku teleported spam Copy-Vegeta and Beerus in the Battle of Gods movie. One is equal to Goku's speed, while the other is superior.

Didn't they set up in the RoF arc Frieza knew how to counter IT?
So him doing it in this episode didn't bother me much.

It did bother me Gohan had nothing against it after episode 90. That would have been a great way to tie in episode 90, like maybe Gohan could manipulate his energy in a way to where the Yardrat couldn't sense it.

The yardrat clearly didn't need to hone in on energy to teleport. He was jumping around to spots where there were no fighters, like when he teleported into the air against freeza

Let's be real, this is Dragon Ball. 95% of the main cast were evil or an antagonist at some point down the line. They'll forgive it when U-7 saves all their worlds with the wish.
