I fell asleep during juice/Omega live then had to watch it in bits and pieces the next day over a few hours. Not the best way to watch a wrestling match but wow it felt like it delivered, even in cut up consumption. Heel juice peeking through and the instant regret on his face afterwards. But then he went and did more dirty things D:

I prefer Ghostbusters 1 over 2, but I do think Ghostbusters 2 gets a lot of unnecessary flack thrown its way. It's a perfectly fun movie that's only flaw is that it followed up one of, in my opinion, the best comedies ever. The only really huge criticism I have with Ghostbusters 2 is how everyone seemingly forgot about how the Ghostbusters saved the world in the first movie, even though it happened in the most public way possible. Other than that, Ghostbusters 2 is a pretty FnP movie
The remake feels like it was made by a writer/director who missed the point of what made the first two movies work

YASS, the lineup for the PROGRESS mini tournament is doooope, everyone I would have wanted pretty much from the "about to break out" level of the Women's BritWres scene.
I bet you'd think it's the best movie ever if it starred a bunch of New Japan midcarders though.

hottest of takes: I thought ghostbusters 2, taken alone, was better then ghostbusters. As its only weakness was having the exact same story structure. Courtroom scene was amazing, Vigo was scary, and Janosz was hilarious (except for when he was stealing the baby at which time he was nightmare fuel).

I feel like Ghostbusters 2 is that same weird realm with Batman Returns / RoboCop 2 / Return of the Jedi where it's a perfectly serviceable sequel that gets irrationally shit on simply because it had to be a sequel to a more memorable movie.

Nah, I don't think you're a hypocrite in this regard. The Ghostbusters reboot is pretty mediocre and it also reeks of Sony execs sticking their fingers into it all over the place. I think with a different director (and studio) the movie could have been really fun.
