Originally it was DQ7 3DS but now that its reality, Tales of Destiny PS2, though I've already played the hell out of it and can get through it in Japanese I don't really care anymore. It would be novelty.

All of the War of Genesis games. Those games are obscure Korean PC RPG games and the third one sold a lot when it came out. It even won a price and not a lot of single player games earn that price in South Korea.

War of Genesis won awards in a time when single-player DOS/Windows games actually were the norm in South Korea, before MMOs took off and almost entirely decimated single-player market share. That's the biggest reason why games from that era differ so much from recent South Korean output.

Also going to second Zero/Ao no Kiseki, again. They, especially Ao, are among the best games in the finest RPG series I've ever played. I still have complete faith that XSEED will eventually be able to get around to them, even if they have to do CS3 first to prevent it from falling into NISA's hands.

the new final fantasy and dragon quest itadaki street special that is coming out next month in japan.

I will get it regardless and even force myself to learn enough japanese to play it. but I would love an actual english version of it.

I still figure a simple localization leaving the voices in japanese but translating the other elements of the game shouldn't be that expensive, and that the two IPs alone would be enough to sell enough copies to make a profit, but it still seems unlikely SE will localize it at this point.

I have to second the SD3 requests. I mean we have a great d fan translation, but to get a proper official localization would be great.

Not a game exactly, but if we're talking "dream localization", I'd love to see that old Dragon Quest anime fully redubbed with British VAs in the style of modern DQ games.

I know this has a fairly good anime adaptation as visual novels go, but I was especially unsatisfied by how rushed the entire ending section of the series was, and I want to know what really went down. I need my scientific explanations!

Sadly the only way I see this getting localized is if it gets a port to something that's not Vita. With a sequel coming out (allegedly) next Spring, I would hope they consider it, but I'm not getting my hopes up. A Switch port would be nice since they teased the sequel may come to Switch.

Ugh, I really want this to come out here, if only since with the vague stuff I read alone that sequel is definitely going to be a sequel to both Steins;Gate and Chaos;Child as well. Sucks that Elite is Vita only; I really hope they port it (and not a new version like S;G Elite, ugh) to Switch and/or PS4 so that it can be comfortably brought over here.

Well... so far SE and the devs have stayed firm regarding their position on the matter of VA in DQXI. They keep saying it would impact the localization process, but there is nothing stopping them to add the voice over after the release of the game in the West.

It's one of my favorite games for relaxation.It's really beautiful as well with some great hand-painted backgrounds that give a strong Studio Ghibli feel.For people who were lucky enough to spend time in the countryside when they were younger (during the 80's and 90's i spend all my summers at my parents countryhouse until i was 15-16) they can relate a lot to this game regardless if they are American,European or Asian.It really captures a sense of nostalgia and has a very nice atmosphere with a very minimal use of music (it relies a lot in the countryside sounds in order to build atmosphere).

You're doing daily activities in your uncle's farm during the 80's,and going to nearby places such as temples,visiting neighbours,hunting bugs and make them fight each other,and various other activities as the day and night progress.You can discover some new things if you visit the same areas at night.

You don't need to know any Japanese (i didn't back in 2008 when i first played it) in order to progress for at least a few hours but i remember that eventually i got stuck at some point and i could only do the same activities over and over again.

Actually recently i was thinking to return to it now that i am beginner + level at Japanese and see if i can progress any further than the last time.

One really odd one that I wish we would have gotten is Segagaga. The self referential nature of it seems so neat. But I probably won't bother to play a fan translation or whatever.

Possibility of this happening with the Sega Forever service on mobile. From Eurogamer's interview with Mike Evans (SEGA Networks chief marketing officer):

"I'm actively looking at Segagaga as a title which will be a great thing, there are other titles I'd love to see like Panzer Dragoon."
