Got to Baths section of Raid with a group, but looks like only experienced players are allowed for the follow up.

Gotta say, I know I'm newbie and explaining the strategies is annoying, who wants to wipe 10x before we even get a decent run, etc...

But I have to admit, the whole thing really soured me on the community a bit.

I'm a die hard Destiny player and was really looking forward to blind running the raid, but haven't even been able to touch it yet. I can't commit consecutive hours outside of my extremely late night/early morning windows.

We'll be running Sherpa raids soon enough.

I wouldn't hold it against them on a Monday night. Everything resets tomorrow, and you just want to get your clear before then. Moreover, the last week and a half has been very grindy in getting past sections.

Tomorrow you will probably find a better group.

I’ve only run Calus once but the group was relatively inexperienced, I went in k owing absolutely nothing and it seemed to go by quickly. Doesn’t seem nearly as penalizing as Oryx or Skolas we’re so it’s weird to see so many groups disband there

Anyone know if call to arms auto completes if you had the milestone partially completed prior to the patch? I was at like 70% complete yesterday... which would be more than enough to complete it fully by the new prerequisite.

same thing happened to my wife, she was only at 50% today, she got the reward.

That's 3 hours of checking every 30 minute intervals at :00 and:30

Be grateful, you could be 304 like me and have everything only drop at 294 max (Blues, legendary, exotic, faction) the past 4 days.
And have vendors NEVER change

Just beat Calus an hour ago only took us 3 tries and beat him in under 2 cycles.

Got the SMG, Arms, Cloak, and the RL - which is awesome.

It actually kinda sucks the Raids are so technical too. Like, it's rewarding getting through sections, but everyone in my clan is very casual. That dog section will probably be impossible for my group.

I did Destiny might have overdid it a bit with the cheese stuff. I only want to play through this Raid once and be done with it, it was kinda annoying especially the obstacle course part.

The barrier to high light level is just not as fun yet, but I'm comparing Taken King with year 1, so It should get better.

That means 305 is the trigger to get you 300 Engram

Only thing is Reset just around the corner, so many Milestones to advance it, hopefully netting you the missing 305 piece(s)

Then you can join the chase to cycle that Engram!

That's ridiculous. I don't care if it's a Monday, no one should be forcing you to quit a group. That's jyst awful. Block them.

I have been part of raids where we kept wiping because of one or two weak links but we never kicked them out. I remember one really bad night where we spent three hours on oryx the night before the year 2 book ended. We all knew the weak link and while we tried to put them in an easy spot after some wipes, it didn't matter. We were all pissed but didn't say a word. We simply all quit after 3 hours and just said Fuck it to the yearbook.

Bungie ended up extending the deadline by a week so i got it done thanks to hawkian but the point is that we all suffer together. Your group sucked and shouldn't have done that.

It's my favoured scout in PvP at the moment - it seems to just wreck everything.

It's super low impact, but I think it's the constant tap tap tap that puts people off. I dunno, feel like I'm winning maybe 3/4 ling range duels?

Nah, they weren't rude like that, they didn't drop me. We ended at the half-way mark after it was getting late. It was just the following day they really wanted to finish and basically just started new groups asking for people that's done it before. I did message one of them with no reply, but like I said, don' think it was "leave out Omni" they are just rushing trying to get done and that's easier with experienced players. I'm more sour at the Raid and how techy it is so you need members that's memorized everything. Really limits who can do it and have a good time.

Other bosses were forgiving in Normal mode.
You had ample time to Raise and readjust

Lose 1 player "inside", before all call outs, wipe
All 3 use Tokens "outside", wipe
Player gets on too early, lose DPS, leave early, lose DPS
It's very mechanic Heavy to get all things working properly

Once they do, you win

Is the guided game for the Raid activated now?

Same here, I've spent about 6 or 7 hours total on the fight and I think I'm kinda done with it. We kept losing people inside to the general bugs and glitches that are pretty wellspread, but then we'd also start having other problems like all of a sudden just not hearing someone doing callouts who said they were (which included me at one point) and other stuff. I feel like there's a bit more room for error than some people give it credit for, but Bungie doesn't always hold up their end of the bargain in terms of it being mechanically sound. It probably doesn't help that I just honestly don't think it's a fun fight to begin with.

I have a feeling once I wrap up my last character's random bullshit (just a handful of lost sector's and 2 quests left) I'm just kinda done and going to move on for the most part until meaningful content/DLC hits.

I have a "Powerful Gear" question for you. I am on an alt, and the Clan XP Powerful gear milestone is completed. is the light level already set for it? or can I get my alt up some more light levels and then come back and claim it at a higher light level?

i knew about the +5 bonus. I just didnt know these sons of bitches were still doing +1 increments. Thats just sadistic seeing as how exotic drops are rarer than they have ever been. like 20 in 1 odds if you are grinding public events, strikes and crucible.

Three of coins was like 5-7 bosses every 10 minutes which came out to be 1 exotic roughly ever hour of playtime. nowadays i go the entire 4 hours of the medellion and dont see a single exotic.
