finn in the reflection too

I wonder how hard it is to dynamically map reflections of CGI environments to her chrome helmet

My guess:

Snoke is talking to Rey in the beginning.
Kylo can't gun down his mom and starts heading back to the light.
Luke turns his back on training Rey.
Rey/Ben join forces to fight Snoke.
Rey gets captured by Snoke.
Ben has to go to Luke and convince him to save Rey.

I buy it

Just a warning for people that truly hate spoilers: just like with TFA, the entire plot might have been leaked online.

Seems like some potentially controversial story choices are being made if I take what's presented at face value.

But it would also seem controversial to be this deliberately misleading.

I dunno which is more likely.

Kylo really is the best part of this new trilogy, I was really interested to see where his arc goes after TFA and 10 times more interested after watching this trailer.

I had avoided everything before seeing the first. I watched the trailers for this one since I was a bit disappointed with the previous one. Seems like it a has a more cohesive plot, I think it will be a lot better.

Yep, that seems about right.

Everything I've read about TLJ from the cast and crew/producers has indicated that it will challenge what people expect from a Star Wars movie - which leads me to think the film's ending will probably be controversial. My guess is the film ends with Rey and Kylo appearing to switch sides.

Everyone's saying Snoke is talking to Rey, but is Kylo talking to her as well? "Let the past die. Kill it, if you have to. That's the only way to become what you were meant to be."

I have a very strong feeling that,

1. No, this is not showing you how Leia dies.

2. No, Rey is not talking to Ren at the end.

Come on.

People really want evil Luke, even though that shits all over his character

Is that what it is?

I loathe the notion of Luke going evil. It would obliterate the redemption arc of the OT.

He saves his daddy and then becomes an evil asshole decades later?

As it is, Rian is taking a big risk making Luke a broken man clearly afraid of what lies ahead.

Though I think it will work if executed well enough.

It's actually not too difficult assuming you have a good material model to make it look realistic. Determining the actual reflections isn't the hard part. Plus they're not doing this in real time.

The raw strength Luke talking about that fodnt scare him before but does now... its definitely Kylo he saw begore but it scares him how powerful Rey is.. as in if he loses her to the darkside its all over
