It took 3 years to release the enxt Pokemon game after Y/X.

Not sure why would anyone think the first HD Pokmon game to take less time

It's ridiculous to reply to a thread specifically to argue that a game got a 10/10 review because you played 3 hours and would give it a 6.5.

You don't have to like it. But no, you can't fairly give a 100 hour game a score at all if you've only played 3 hours.

Saying it's ridiculous doesn't make it ridiculous. I've seen the core of what the game has to offer, and I have a pretty good idea of at least part of what it wants me to do: chores to make their cumbersome and frustrating design choices less cumbersome and frustrating.

I have an opinion on the game. And it wildly differs from Edge. Which is why I'm not putting any stock in this review score.

? To expand the inventory I can carry, I need korok seeds, don't I? Or is there some way for me to get an unlimited item box that isn't a complete chore? And to get more stamina, I need to solve boring shrine puzzles.

korok seeds aren't fetch quests, nor are they puzzles - at most they're time trials. And the game hands them out for you a plenty - there's a reason the reward for collecting them all is a mockery.

I'm still laughing at the "these brittle weapons you should avoid using" post though. Like for real.

When I look down the list I don't think it belongs among most of them, sorry if that offends you or something. I can see why people appreciate it and had a good time with it but I still think it cuts short of a 10/10.

Is 3 hours not enough time to see what the game is?

Work to find the hundreds of korok seeds to expand your paltry invetory system.

Find the 120 shrines and solve simple puzzles so traversal becomes less cumbersome and so you don't get one-shotted in fights.

Traveral to find brittle weapons and other items. Avoid enemies so you don't break them. Stop and start battles because your weapons are so brittle.

The enemies aren't fun to fight so far. Parrying is the easiest way to handle guardians which are supposed to be threatening.

Yeah, 6.5 for me. Easy.

Why are you still going on about BotW? Either comment about Mario Odyssey or leave.

I remember that.

It was a wild time between the Switch reveal in January (mostly negative) to the slow trickle and then onslaught of reviews and then the gifs and experiences people had the first 2 months after release.

Highly entertaining times on gaming side.

I think Zelda and Mario get 10's for the same reason people love nostalgia... Because Zelda had alot of flaws other games would get killed in, especially frame rate issues.
Mario has meh graphics, not as bad slow down...but thats just from playing the demo, so ill also admit that what i was playing may not be the final code.
